I heard an attitude too but she really covers it and i think that is just as important as when someone is just completely bitchy about something.

I didn't think the interviewer was mean or rude. I think Selena came off as disinterested and a bit bitchy. She was a bit irritated before it even began. If she doesn't want to be asked about Justin then don't date him. She almost seemed embarrassed to be associated with him the way she acts.

It's his job to ask about justin. If she's gonna go around making out with him on the beach she should expect to get asked questions about it.. All she had to say was oh, he's a great guy and I'm very lucky. Like she usually does and it would've been done and over with.

He wasn't rude, or at least he wasn't trying to be rude when he asked her, people care about Bieber right now, her problem is that she thinks that because of all of the publicity lately, she is already big, or her own star, but right now, she is Bieber's creation. She is Bieber's Girlfriend, they are Justin Bieber and his GF Selena Gomez.

The interviewer did go a little unprofessional during the interview, but Selena was equally as unprofessional. She acted like the news show he was on was a big joke because it was as prestigious as Letterman or Ryan Seacrest where she happily talked about Justin.
Every actor/actress gets asked about personal lives during interviews, it's apart of the business, if you can't handle it, don't make something public or don't answer ANY questions about it. You can't get picky when it comes to who you will and will not talk to about it.
She was imperfessional during other parts of the interview as well because she seemed so disconnected and like she just didn't care.

Before they interview you, you can have your people send a list of questions they aren't allowed to ask you. I don't get why Selena doesn't do that if she doesn't like talking about Justin in interviews.

They were there to talk about the movie. The guy was totally an unprofessional interviewer -.- He probably knew he wasn't allowed to ask that, but did it anyway. SMH XD

I doubt it cuz she happily talked about Justin on Seacrest if she had her people send out a list of questions not to ask to this news guy, she would have them send to everyone she's being interviewed by including Ryan. That's the way it goes.

I don't think the interviewer was rude or mean, it's not like he kept pushing the question and kept trying to bring Justin up, he drop it after she said she only wanted to talk about the movie. If she had told him that she didn't want to talk about Bieber ahead of time and he still did, then yeah he would be rude.
Oh the other hand I'm sure Selena is tired of always getting ask about Justin. It must suck to always be refer to or known as Justin's girlfriend. But then again, it's not like they make any effort at all in trying to keep their relationship on the DL.

Sorry, I didn't want to copy my whole long paragraph, because it would take up some much space haha. :]
Anyway, appearances on late night shows and really any shows are set up to promote things, even shows like Ryan and David L.
Not sure if you've noticed, but every time someone is on a show like that, they always have something coming out soon. (You probably know that already, but I know a few people still haven't figured that out haha.)
So, she is there to promote things as well. I do get what you are say as to having Leighton Meester there and that he shouldn't have gotten into her personal life when it was a double interview, but she shouldn't have completely shut him out like that. There are other ways to answer that question without having an attitude.
She should go into every interview prepared for personal questions.
But either way, it's not that important, every celebrity has bad interviews with short, snappy answers.

It's rude to push forward when Selena has politely switched the question. Everybody does it and Interviewer 101 you know you should move forward or nice follow up question - instead he digs in & launches on her about Letterman. Letterman or any other professionals know when to move on. He did not. That was the rude thing. Sure if he wants to ask the question, ask it. But she gave a response and it was unsatisfactory to him then followed up w/ unprofessional remarks.

I'm just mad we didn't get more of Leighton's passive aggressive facial expressions what we been seeing all day Cuz she finds to questions ridic too.

It was one questions that were followed up by rather two unprofessional questions/statements. Phrasing of the question wasn't the best.

Honestly, this interview wasn't even that awkward. What made it awkward is him saying it and the uploader using that title to be fair.

Agreed hands down! Like seriously guys, the guy was just doing his job. If Selena's gonna get THAT defensive about it then first she should have never went public with it, its obvious & common sense to know people are gonna ask. & second, Selena only talks about Bieber when the time in convinent for her. Personally i believe the interviewer was just asking questions people want to here and know about but do other people such as Ellen do the same thing sure. I believe Selena handled it really well and when she bought up the fact about Leighton being there,it was valid. The interview was not a personal one regarding one person it was a group interview and should have probably not been so deep
Into either person for that reason. I also believe the interviewer gassed(exploded) the whole situation. After the question it was not that awkward. He also took it too personal he's not the only one she denied from talking about her personal life and won't be the last. Lastly, selena is probably also irritated it's quite aggravating to have a special moment interrupted by one factor of your life especially when u have talked about it before over and over but that is what comes with the business. I have nothing against Selena or Justin I'm just expressing my feelings.

I slightly disagree I believe yes she does talk about Justin in other interviews such as Ellen but to constantly talk about it is annoying and even though she's dating Justin she was still relevant But yes she had it coming because she is dating him, they are public and she talks about him in other interviews but the guy was kinda being a jerk and shouldve payed both Leighton and selena attention
