I a very late, but...I am not even a selena fan. It is just that I think many of the people who are talking here "protecting animals" then go and eat one big yummy hamburger at mcdonals. My pets do not die. And I get them from the humane society. One question the Humane Society asks is has an animal ever died in your care. If you answer yes then no pet for you. You are not responsible enough.

Drowning in a pool, being hit by car same thing. Keep an eye on your pets.
