Like the judges said, Chelsea has been consistent throughout the entire competition, earning perfect scores and during the last couple of weeks she was neck in neck with Hines. DEFINITELY not 3rd place.

Mark and Chelsea were better technical dancers. Hines and Kym overcame some seriously major stuff and maintained excellence throughout. Kirstie was a story who everyone's mom wanted to see through.

To keep things somewhat fair, the judges made sure Chelsea would make it to the final, after what happened last year to Brandy and awhile ago to Sabrina
Bryant.

If you want to watch a talent competition So You Think You Can Dance is right around the corner.

And, personally when I saw Joe tell his fans to vote for Chelsie, I thought it was a bit unfair, but if you complain about Miley you have to recognize that anyone with a large fan base and stans can sway a vote and probably did.

Hines improved throughout the season but he was still not THE best, i think the only reason he won the crowd over is because Kim was injured and people thought it was so brave of them to dance after what looked like a serious injury. Still I'm happy he won & not Kirstie.
I think Chelsea deserved if not to win, at least 2nd!

i feel like miley took the original people who wouldve voted for chelsea( and prob were voting for her all sesason) and sent them to kirstie and that kinda screwed up the dynamic (not saying she was wrong for it , just an observation), so the votes were pulled and split and hines ended up with the upper hand because of it

The main problem with the Dancing with the Stars competition is though the people in it are “Judged” on their dancing skill, in the long run it turns out to be nothing more than a popularity contest. As far a skill goes, Chelsea Kane should of won it. Hines Ward is a very good dancer, but the women in general do far more difficult dance moves than the men do. A good portion of the time the men are just standing and waiting for the women to finish their twist and turns. If placed in a dance competition against each other with out dance partners, and the people popularity vote, Chelsea would win purely out of her ability to do the over the top moves. If it wasn’t for the popularity vote, Kirstie Alley would of been booted out a long time ago. Yes she lost a lot of weight and did improve over the length of the competition, but she wasn’t on the level of Hines and Chelsea or many of those who were booted out earlier. I personally think the competition would be more fair if they added one more variant. One third of the total vote should be from their peers. The other contestants. This would make the winner truly worthy of taking home the grand prize.
