I could watch scary movies by myself, in the dark at night.
Just the thought of toys coming alive without you even realizing it terrified me as a kid and I guess the thought still sticks with me. Lol.

The other day my older brother was talking about having children, blah blah blah, and then my mom who really wants to be a grandma was like, "we have the crib for the baby when it would have to stay at our house. We'd just have to put it in your sister's computer room" and I was like "hell no. Put it in the basement". Then my brother told me I'm going to be the worst aunt ever. Which is probably true.
I wouldn't be alone without kids aha. You have your significant other. Plus, I'm going to be so busy with life & I have so many things I want to do, I don't wanna let kids slow me down.
I'd be such a bad mom rofl. I'd have to have nannies
Plus I already have my niece & nephew. Enough kids for life~ It's not that I hate kids, I simply don't want to have any of my own.
I actually don't like kids that much. Well at least bratty kids. Another reason why I'm afraid to reproduce, I'm afraid they'll turn out like me when I was a child. No thank you.
And let's be honest.. If my kids turned out to be even as half as bad as I am/was... hell no.

I don't want to have kids primarily for the loss of freedom. The notion that you have to practically forfeit personal interest for another being's for 18 long years; otherwise you are a failure or bad parent is a turn off. Not to mention children usually lead to a deteriorating relationship with your partner and friends and can be a career crippler.
And the biggest reason of all, over population ~ there's enough kids on this planet already that need homes. I hate when I get into this discussion with friends and they're always like "But I want to have my own"
