Nick Jonas How To Succeed Backstage

htsib9

From @TheBeckiWeiss: My friend & I got a backstage tour of the show! We went outside before the cast took their final bows because we knew it was gonna be crazy & ran to the stage door gate. They took us in through the doors where we got these VIP passes and were wating on the side of the stage where the cast..

..goes off into the wings. We saw all the props and furniture! We could see Nick across the stage with some people talking! There were other groups waiting to meet him so we had to wait a little longer. I was able to ask for a hug, he signed both our Playbills! He was so nice and polite and just the greatest guy ever!

+ Nick on MTV’s 10 On Top!

I’m Becki (the one in the pic)and the reason we got to meet him was because my friend’s dad knew someone. We had to leave before the final bows because if we didnt then we were gonna get stuck behind the crowd of people that surround the stagedoor.

i did love the experience but the fact that you have to start an argument on a post that has nothing to do with being an expert on broadway is really ignorant and imature. you are the one wearing green. kbyeeee.
    ——-
it wasn’t an argument. you failed to mention how you got backstage, and I was genuinely curious as to how that happened when I know the guys down there take their job very seriously. the discussions I had with others has nothing to do with what I was directing towards you.
and I don’t need to be green with envy when I’m invited down at that theatre all the time, getting to see the cast ALL the time. I can meet Nick when I’d like to.

but whatever, go on and enjoy your memory, since that’s what it is now; a memory. I how you enjoy rubbing it in others’ faces. just know that some won’t be impressed, especially if they have the same story.

no you wouldn’t. the barricades keep the crowds at bay on both sides of the door, and then people who are on VIP lists can go right up to the door from the street.

and by the way, hun, I don’t believe anyone here said any ignorant or “jealous” comments. yes, you met Nick Jonas, lovely for you. that doesn’t mean everyone is going to be jealous of you for it. take the experience and love it.

You’re very annoying, you know? You think you’re god ’cause you know more about Broadway. But, truth to be told, no-one here gives a shit about that. No-one cares about how the girls got there, all they want is to see the photos.

It is a gossip site after all, isn’t it? If we wanted to know, we would go to a Broadway site, or even ask you stuff. But, hey NO-ONE HAS ASKED YOU.

“I don’t care about Broadway.” that’s a very ignorant statement. Broadway is amazing, something you can only dream of ever hoping to grasp the concept of. and it’s people like you that I hate get to experience it, because you’re not there for the magic of it or appreciate it, you just want to see the big star. never mind the other 28 cast members, the production crew, or the orchestra, who there would be no show without. no, it’s all about the big star and who gets to meet him. well, I get to meet him! do you care? no, probably not, clearly.
    disgusting.

He acted so different on MTV than he did on Regis & Kelly. It came off as kind of obnoxious. And I never think of him like that. He always seems sweet.

  • neelie

Rewatched it and obnoxious isn’t the right word. I guess he’s just trying to be funny. He’s still sweet.

  • l?veislouder

something is missing from this story. they don’t just let random people backstage, no matter how early they get to the door.
not to mention, it’s rude to leave before the end of a show too.
