Via TecMundo. Pix via SelenaGomez.Com.BR. Unsurprisingly Facebook, as well as other social networks, knows a lot about our lives . With applications, mechanisms of interaction and games, the service created by Mark Zuckerberg easily find what we like to eat, the places we attend, the people with whom we talked more and even what music we like to listen to the start or end a relationship.

From the relationship status of the profiles and applications that list the songs that people listen while browsing the social network in anticipation of Valentine’s Day in the U.S. (which is celebrated on February 14), the analysis team’s data Facebook was able to rank the most listened to songs by newly in love and those who had their hearts broken.

The 10 songs that people listen more to start a relationship:

“Do not Wanna Go Home” Jason Derulo
“Love On Top” by Beyoncé
“How to Love” by Lil Wayne
“Just The Way You Are” Bruno Mars
“Good Feeling” by Flo Rida
“It Girl” Jason Derulo
“Stereo Hearts” Gym Class Heroes featuring Adam Levine
“Criminal” by Britney Spears
“No Sleep” by Wiz Khalifa
“Free Fallin” by John Mayer
The playlist of those who just ended an affair is as follows:

“The Cave” by Mumford and Sons
“Crew Love” by Drake
“All of the Lights” by Kanye West
“Rolling in the Deep” by Adele
“Take Care” of Drake
“It Will Rain” by Bruno Mars

I wouldn’t listen to those kind of song after a break up.
some of them are fun songs and i like to listen more like soft quiet songs but not sad songs :)

Uhhh, I understand that aspect. I’m talking about the song choices. You listen to I love You Like a Love Song and We Found Love AFTER a breakup? Those are love songs not breakup songs!

uh, actually it does. you don’t listen to a certain type of music when you’re feeling a certain emotion? I’ll bet you do, as do many other people. that’s what the list is based on.

The analysis team at Facebook is literally too stupid to insult.

people feel things differently. if person A just broke up with someone and wants to match the songs to the feelings, yes maybe they will listen to sad songs, breakup songs. but person B on the other hand, could want to listen to love songs to remember the good times or try to bring them back, ergo, listening to “We Found Love” and “Love You Like a Love Song”
personally, I’m more apt to listen to happy love songs when I’m going through a break-up than when I’m in a good relationship. that’s just me. just because you’re not like that doesn’t mean other people aren’t.

wow selena is seriously slaying! i wonder if she would still have done as well if she didnt date justin bieber. her songs are catchy but still. she didnt get that much attention before. and for all the talk that “music is dead” people seem to eat up the autotuned artists perfectly well!

  • TeamStelena

Oh please, will you ever stop mentioning Bieber on every single Selena post? He has nothing to do with her songs and this topic.

  • ceeeral

the title doesn’t make any sense!
