US X Factor’s Rachel Crow, 14, has been signed to Nickelodeon with an overall talent deal including a comedy series and Columbia Records/ Syco deal. Simon Cowell: ‘I am incredibly happy for Rachel. This girl has it. We saw her potential at the first audition and Nickelodeon and Columbia are the right homes for her.

She is slated to appear in a recurring role in Nickelodeon’s new comedy series FRED: THE SHOW appearing opposite Lucas Cruikshank. Crow will play Starr, an imaginative, confident but awkward teenager.

Like Fred, Starr’s self-perception doesn’t match up with how the world sees her. To her classmates, she seems a bit eccentric, but in her own mind, Starr is a wildly talented actress/ singer and ready to break out of her boring town. FRED: THE SHOW airs on Friday nights.

yes, I know what she said, I watched the video (unfortunately). she acts more like an 5-year-old than a 13-year-old. she’s a child, as you said, and if she can’t handle rejection (something this industry is practically built on), then maybe she shouldn’t be given further exposure.

    i dont think she’s ready

I did kind of feel bad for her when she got booted, it was a shock. But she will have trouble actually making it, hardly anything comes of Nickelodeon stars.

    Who dat?

    I can’t stand Fred. He’s annoying.
Yes, she can sing, but I don’t she’s mature enough to handle the fame. That temper tantrum she threw after losing was uncalled for. As a 13 year old, she should understand things aren’t always going to go your way sometimes and blowing up like that isn’t the right thing to do. But it’s not like anything becomes of Nickelodeon stars anyway.

how is she? she does look a bit eccentric and awkward. No-one succeedes in Nickelodeon anyway. No-one survives Disney, though.

she’s a complete brat. she threw a tantrum when she was booted off The X Factor, screaming that she was promised she’d win. there’s being upset, and then there’s just losing it with no valid reason, and feeling entitled. this girl is going to be another Naomi Campbell, now that she’s been given another spotlight. ughh -__-
