Demi Lovato Still Has Eating Disorder, Cut

  • Okay.

Seriously, I’m getting really tired of all this ‘I got though this and now I’m happy. I want to speak up and tell people about my struggle’.
Come on! Do some sport, get fit and prove you aren’t another famewhore.

I’m looking forward to ‘You don’t understand what she went through, stupid hater’ messages

get fit? You’re an ignorant. Thanks to people like you, society is fucked up. Demi is trying to help girls to get over bulimia, anorexia, self harming and depression. EVERYONE SUFFERS AND NOBODY SAYS A WORD but SHE DOES and you are here hating on her. Good for you if you are perfectly good with your life and obviously not inspired by someone about it at all but some of us are and she’s saved some lives and that’s a worthy thing now move one with your damn life. You are just so sad…

  • Anonymous

Maybe if it was a more SERIOUS artist! She’s just an attention whore!

  • StephaniaJonas

I don’t know why, but i feel like she’s getting so much attention.

Stop talking about your problems, make good music and move on.

I use to be a fan, but ever since she got out of rehab and start to act like a famewhore i lost a lot of respect.

  • l?veislouder

I have a lot of respect for people like her, I think people like her are very strong. But it’s getting really annoying how she keeps talking about her disorder -_- like get help, yes it may be hard to get over something like that, but really ? why do you care so much about what ppl think about you, you are beautiful and rich, stfu already.
    —————————
you say you respect her, and then you tell her to shut the fuck up because she’s beautiful and rich, and that obviously solves everything. -____-
*you can’t explain that meme here*

and it’s not the people’s opinions of her she cares about, it’s herself, and as it’s not a good perception, she needs to work on it.

  • Anonymous

Ummm…why doesn’t she just STOP? Jeeez she makes it sound so hard to do

  • NirvanaSmells

I think it’s good that she’s opening up and helping so many people but it’s getting a little too much now.. I think its amazing how she’s not uncomfortable about all the questions people ask but seriously, I think she’d like to start a new chapter of her life too. The media needs to stop making this a big issue. KK, she has eating disorder. So what? Many celebrities do. Nobody cares about Demi Moore. She just went into treatment for eating disorder.

Now, I’m not saying at all that Demi is a bad person or attention-seeker but I just feel like people should stop and talk about her music. Cuz that’s what will keep her away from her past. She said it herself. No music and fans. No strength.

  • classicalmusicplayer

Eating Disorders and cutting are a hard addiction to get over because there is no physical substance you can take away like alcohol or drugs. Its an mental disease I know people that after 30 years the relap. That’s what makes it so dangerous and a daily battle

  • Anonymous

She wanted to talk about it to show how serious is to have this kind of problem, to try to help people that do those stuff too, to show them that they need to talk about it and get some help. Is no deal she want to talk about it.

  • Anonymous

Of course she does, if she didn’t nobody would be talking about her right now!

wow ur so fucking dumb and ignorant
its not something you get over easily, you might never recover from it
shes telling the truth. and she does it for attention? well shes famous and people GIVE her the attention. if she was so irrelevant no one would give a shit.

  • Haley.

the eating disorder + cutting is getting kinda irrelevant now. its sad to think that people cant just sing and be famous. they have to have the paps + annoying haters following them everywhere they go. we don’t have to KEEP hearing about Demi’s eating disorder. i’ve had problems too but i dont scream about it. in fact id wanna keep it private.

If you had a voice that could save and improve millions of girls’ lives each day, you’re saying you wouldn’t use it? Talking about her shit isn’t easy, she gets emotional even mentioning it.

And plus, she tried to deny is for so long, and it came and bit her in the ass, so clearly your “problems” weren’t as serious and shouldn’t be used in the same context.

don’t tell me about my problems. and please. if she gets so emotional over talking about it. don’t talk about it then. yeah once or twice have a interview about it. this has gone on for a YEAR. it gets boring after a while. i understand she’s saved lives (apparently) but shes not the only person in the world who has had these problems. i think she just needs to lay low on the eating disorder/cutting thing before it bites her in the ass.

some of you’re reactions are truely bullshit. Her words can actually save lifes. it did for me. her talking about it make not have much affect but she is the living truth that you can overcome you’re baddle. She made me believe in me that i could overcome my baddle.

That because it IS HARD. Would you ever say this about any other mental illness? No. Educate yourself before you make ignorant comments like this.

  • Anonymous

It’s like being an alcoholic. You are ALWAYS one. You are just a RECOVERING one. That’s the difference.

  • Anonymous

wow, everyone here who’s telling her to “get over it.”, “just exercise to be skinny.”, or “it’s not that hard to stop cutting.”, are major dumbasses. Recovery takes time and it could be years from now that she’ll fully get better. I’m still struggling with recovering from both and I get relapses too. Demi’s public about it because she’s willing to show the reality of these addictions/disorders. Also to those telling the disordered to exercise if they want to be skinny…that’s a stereotypical message. Most of the anorexic’s wish isn’t to be fit and thin, it’s a death wish. They want to be thin to the point where they’re on the verge of death. They starve because they hate the person they are.

  • Clare

Can she just shut up about this.Dang,I understand it’s serious. But all these interviews and junk seems to me like she wants everyone to feel sorry for her.I like Demi but she needs to wake up and realize that people have even more serious disorders and situations than that. And if she want’s to help others like her that’s great but we get it.We don’t have to be reminded this almost every week. What she needs to do stfu and do something other brag about this.

  • Anonymous

Wow! all the comments saying “just tell her to stop!” i did not think that people were that ignorant! It’s a disease! She’s not doing it on purpose. Remember Mary-Kate Olsen’s eating disorder? She went to 2 rehabs for it & after that her people hired a nutrition&life coach to follow her & give her daily support, as well as making sure that she ate. Demi did not leave rebah saying that she was cured,so i dont understand what;s so hard to understand! Healing mental illnesses takes time!

It’s true that words won’t fix the girls she’s talking to but those words could get the ball rolling for their recovery. I support what she’s doing and to those of you who don’t understand it, you don’t have to. She’s helping the people who need it and those who aren’t sick aren’t really expected to understand it.

  • justmebabe

Man, this society is sick. For real. Demi is trying to help out some girls. She’s using her fame to talk about something GOVERMENT DOESNT CARE ABOUT. JESUS. Do you need me to draw stuff for you all to get it or..?

  • Anonymous

She’s getting annoying now. Celebrities go through eating disorders and other problems all the time. It’s nothing new. What else has she done to help? Other than tweet, and bitch about society? Society is fucked up. we get it. Move on.

  • Anonymous

I feel sorry for all those who have an eating disorder and cut. However, I can’t but think of them as stupid and cowards. Don’t blame society for the your problems, blame yourself.I used to be one of people that blames society for eating disorders, cutting, drug addictions, alcoholics, etc. Now I don’t anymore. It’s their fault. Learn to love yourself, find help. You gotta be smart. Want to be skinny? Do some exercise. Don’t do it the easy way? What is so attractive about girl throwing up? That’s a big health issue. Women don’t even think about the heal issues they face by starving themselves or throwing up. You have problems? So does the rest of the world. Find help. Don’t cut yourself.
    People are ridiculous.

  • Anonymous

Someone tell me…how exactly does she “save lives”? It is not like she is out there curing girls’ eating disorders for them or anything like that. She is just saying “hey, stay strong.” Personally, it takes more than just words for someone to actually get over their problems. I don’t see how she’s being very inspiring just tweeting and talking over and over about what we’ve heard a million times. People overcome their problems slowly, not just because “Oh hey, she told me to stay strong! I should!” You make her out to be some kind of goddess, when she’s not.

  • Anonymous

It’s a daily battle and Demi will have to face these issues for the rest of her life.

  • SubwayToVenus

Wow, I used to cut too, like seriously but for her it’s addictive, I didn’t do it again until I saw my mother cry about it. It’s not like I was addicted, I did it for attention, why can’t she just stop? not even after rehab? that’s serious.

  • Anonymous

I wonder if she ever gets tired of the word eating and disorder.

  • Anonymous

Of course she does, if she didn’t nobody would be talking about her right now!

  • Anonymous

It’s a battle to recovery. It won’t happen over night. It’s not fair to say “why can’t she just stop?” it’s called an addiction for a reason. She’s trying, she said she was. But everyone has their moments. Everyone has their days. Rehab doesn’t just “fix” you. You have to take what you learned there and apply it every day. It’s not like a loose lightbulb, can’t just turn a screw and it’s fixed. It takes time. Give her credit where it’s due.

  • KT

Oceanup, wake up. Eating Disorder is not something what you can run from. It is serious issue, and she will have to face it everyday she wakes up in the morning. You cannot just get out of something what was inside of you your whole life. The reality is not easy to run from :)
I wish her the best in this terrible battle and i hope from the butttom of my heart that she will stay strong enough to fight these demons.

Well at least she has the drugs and alcohol to help take her mind off it

  • Anonymous

the only way she can get away from the eating disorder is stfu about it.
