Niall Horan asked Skins star Freya Mavor out on a date last year and was turned down reports The Mirror: ‘Niall took a liking to Freya and they chatted a couple of times between interviews. It was just after The X Factor last year but, sadly, the feeling wasn’t reciprocated. It wasn’t too awkward, most of the cast know some of the band anyway, Freya just said he wasn’t her type. She is single but she’s confident and knows her own mind, and Niall just wasn’t the one for her.‘
Caroline Flack confessed: ‘Harry is adorable, he is a nice person. He was nice to me. we were nice to each other. He’s brilliant, he is so much fun.. First and foremost we are friends. We got very close for a time but that’s between me and Harry. What happened is between me and him and then we decided it was best to just be friends..
When you go to a public event you know there are going to be photographers there, it’s their job. But it’s weird when they are outside your house and when they turn up at your mum’s house, and when you are driving down your street and you have to swerve because there are three cars behind you and three motorbikes following you wherever you go. But I put myself in the public eye, I have my dream job, so I can’t complain. If it got too much I would give it up, so obviously it hasn’t got too much.’
Simons Cowell Rolling Stone interview: Do you think the timing is right in the U.S. for a new teen sensation? The Jonas Brothers are pretty diminished, and Justin Bieber is appealing to a slightly older audience. No question. No doubt. Most things in music go full circle eventually. I was surprised that there’s been a lack of bands in the charts.
I grew up when the whole Motown thing was huge. The charts in those days were dominated by groups more than solo artists at one point. In the 1990s, we had New Kids (On the Block), Backstreet, N’Sync. Then it all changed. It’s very much at the moment all about solo artists. Interestingly, you’re seeing a lot of these artists collaborate with so many people and they’re putting out seven or eight singles a year. So the charts become very track-led. Thank god kids love following an artist. When you get a group who pop, it’s the best thing in the world. It’s just been waiting to happen for years.
@pretttyliars very soon too start the second album
