One Direction have done it again; their December 3 show at Madison Square Garden sold out in under 10 minutes. With their entire May/June 2012 tour also selling out in minutes, One Direction are giving their fans a chance to see the group live once again in the summer of 2013 as part of their World Tour, the earliest they are able to return with a tour to the States. The Live Nation promoted 25 city tour kicks off in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on June 13, 2013 and hits New York, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more. Tickets go on sale Saturday April 21, at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.

‘Our fans are simply the best in the world. The support they have shown us has been incredible and we’re all so grateful to each and every one of them. We can’t wait to see everyone this summer, at Madison Square Garden and of course when we play our world tour in 2013′. Niall Horan. The Up All Night: The Live Tour DVD will be available on May 29, 2012. The live DVD features a 73 minute concert of their hit songs, plus never before seen, behind the scenes footage and three music videos (“What Makes You Beautiful,” “Gotta Be You” and “One Thing.” Pre-order HERE.

I totally understand that they are trying to capatalize on all of the people who are upset that they didn’t get tickets for this summer’s tour, but seriously, this is crazy. This summer they weren’t coming anywhere near to me, so I couldn’t even think about going. But next summer they are coming closer. I really wanna go but I have no idea if I will be able to because it is more than a year in advance. I have to get a group together by Saturday. Its clear that the tickets will probably all sell out again so we will all have to act quickly.

Probably not, but just aim for what you can get now. When more dates go on sale, you can worry about getting those tickets then.

I didn’t say they forgot their Europe fans i’m just saying that it’s not fair that they’re going to do a tour in US first since they were promoting in Europe first

How is it unfair tho? Everyone deserves a tour. Europe got the UAN tour, now the US is getting it. Europe is getting the arena tour, and now the US is, too. It’s equal. The ones who should be complaining are Latin America, Asia, ect. They haven’t gotten much at all.

…I guess their previous concerts were just warm-ups then, huh? They don’t really count? And what about the fact that in the world tour, European dates are before the American dates? I guess that’s just not important.

This is seriously some big-time planning ahead… I’ve been wondering: what if they start to decline by then? It’s an odd thought, but what if their ride is only a year long in the U.S., not even? It’d be so odd and awkward lol.

I hate the fact theyre gonna sell them NOW it doesnt even give people time to save money, i mean they havent even been officially on tour in NA in 2012 and they are already selling 2013!!! I dont think its fair, they should at least wait until after summer,, how im i gonna know if i will be able to go next year or what if im able to travel but didnt know it until after and tickets are already sold out?! I think they are rushing it only to secure that the tickets are sold in case 1D loses fans (which is very doubtful) and theyre taking advantage that they are relevant now, i mean its great that theyre coming again since alot of fans didnt got tickets, but i think its too soon to sell them right now… :(

You nailed it. People are unsure, but they’re gonna buy now to avoid the concerts selling out. It’s also because they’re relevant now; their management doesn’t want to risk a decline in their popularity, so they strike while the iron’s hot. It’s all business and money.

-_______- Are you serious? Did you not read the article at all? It clearly is stated that the earliest they can come back for a tour in the States is the summer of 2013. That means that for the whole year, from the end of this summer’s tour to next summer’s tour, they won’t be in the States, which means they will most likely be in Europe. Are you that selfish that you think spending a year in Europe is them “forgetting” about you? Maybe the fact that it’s a world tour slipped your mind as well, which means that next year’s tour will include Europe.
Yeah, they started there, but that doesn’t mean that when they try to branch out, they’re forgetting their fans. Please -___-
