Harry Styles revealed to BOP: ‘If I had to honestly tell you a percentage of time we spend talking about girls, I’d say 75 percent.’ Liam chimed in: ‘I’d say it’s more like 80 percent.’ Louis Tomlinson spilled: ‘I can always tell if one of the other guys likes someone. The thing is, the five of us spend a lot of time in the car. We always go around and tell each other what we’ve done in the last few days. If someone is talking about the same person a lot, I can tell her likes her!’
EACH GUY HAS SECRET CRUSH SIGNALS: Niall gets giggly and fidgety when he likes someone. Liam blushes and talks about sweet dates he’d like to go on when he has a serious crush. Zyan gets quiet when he’s holding on a secret. Louis admits he gets nervous and talks to much. Harry tells silly jokes to change the subject.
Zayn admitted: ‘I think Louis or I understand girls the most. It’s because I grew up with sisters, so we were always around a lot of girls. I think we all understand girls pretty well, but Louis and I know the most. Actually we all have sisters except for Niall.’ As soon as Zayn mentions Niall, Liam starts shouting ‘Niall, Niall, Niall!’ Niall hasn’t got any sisters, and I think it’s easier when you’ve got sister because you’ve just been around girls more. Of all the guys, you wouldn’t ask Niall for girls advice!’
Harry: ‘Niall seems to have his own way with girls. It’s different from the rest of us, but what he’s doing works for him! The rest of us just can’t pull it off! We all give each other girl advice. If someone is having a problem with a girl, he’ll come into the car and tell everyone about it. We all listen, then give our advice and talk about it. We give the best advice as a group, because we have four different opinions. Between all of us, we come up with the best solutions to us our girl problems!’
Liam said that they tell each other everything because they know ‘we are really good at keeping secrets.’ However, Zayn confessed that there is a real ONE DIRECTION CODE: ‘We say odd words that only we know what they mean. We use it occasionally and it’s just banter between us, but we think it’s funny.’ The code helps them when talking about crushes: ‘But, it’s a secret, I can’t give any more away.’
