Via @lovanas. + Demi @ airport.
From @elizaboldrin: I met Demi on September 30 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I went to HSBC with no ticket on my hands. I was with two friends, so that, they got into the show, but, I stayed alone outside.
By that time, I was kinda angry because everything seemed to be getting wrong: I didn’t know the Hotel that Demi would be in and I hadn’t seen her at the airport when she got to Brazil.
So, I picked up my cell phone and started to talk to a friend of mine. As I was talking on the phone I was also walking towards the back exit, which is also the media car’s entrance\ exit (I didn’t know a thing about it).I was just walking, when
I saw a guy with a lantern, and as the same time that I was getting to that place I saw a huge car (with a big iPhone’s flash into it), followed by asmaller one going through the gate . I thought it was Demi’s, but when I look to time, it was about 7 p.m, so she would be already there, `cause her show would start at 8 PM.
With almost no hope, I did stared at the car,the huge one. It passed by me, so I kept talking to my friend on the phone. When it got into the parking lot, I just hung up the phone and then I walked forward the guards to ask about Demi. One of them, told me that a van has got to the parking lot about 5:30 PM, so that, she might be there.
I was almost getting convinced that it was my bad day, but I would rather be there waiting to at least see her at the end , maybe in the car, than to be in another place. When I just looked forward, about 100 meters away from me, I saw DEMI LOVATO getting out of the car, waking towards me. I got in panic, but I didn’t scream, it was kinda blackout, but into me ( I could barely daydream by myself: is she coming to talk to me or to the security guards? Is it a dream?).I stayed stand, paralyzed. She stopped right in front of me , gave me a hand shake and said: ‘Hi, nice to meet you, my name is Demi Lovato, and yours?’.
I was really shocked , so the only words that came out of my mouth were : “Nice to meet you too”, and after a while, I said ‘Eliza’. We kept looking at each other, without speak a word. Looking at that scene her guards told me something that I couldn’t understand, and she asked if I’d like to take a picture . I said the slowest YES that I could say, and I also said that I couldn’t speak English that well and she said : ‘ TUDO BEM’, which means “That’s ok”, in English.
Going from the moment of my life ,to the mess made by my almost lost camera, I finally got the picture , which was not that important compared to the most incredible and strong hug that I got in my life plus : ”Eu te amo muito ( I love you so much, in English) which I quickly answered with ” I love you too”.
She gave that big and contagious smile to me . I just pulled her hand ( the one with the word STRONG and a heart on ), and softly kissed her wrist , meaning that she could count on me and that she should always be strong. She didn’t say a word but smiled.
The guards were calling her back, so that , she couldn’t understand, even though I tried , that I didn’t have a ticket to get in. But, after that, watching her show would be so much to me. All the security guards, both brazilian and american ones, were asking me why she did that, which I couldn’t even try to explain, because the tears full of happiness were going down from my eyes.
At the end, I kept there,at the same place that we have talked some hours ago, so that, when her car passed by me it stopped close, and she put that big smile on her face and gave it to me combined with a really big wave, which I also promptly reattributed. Demi and her cute face! Demi made my night.
I mean, she made that night the most incredible one. I swear that even today, I have no words to describe those feelings. What happened was surreal , was UNFORGETABLE. Thank you more than a lot my princess @ddlovato, I love you! ♥
