Kids’ will have a chance to see all their favorite Nickelodeon stars together for the first time in the original TV movie, Swindle. Jennette McCurdy (iCarly), Noah Crawford (How to Rock, You Gotta See This) and Noah Munck (iCarly) will team up with Ariana Grande (Victorious), Chris O’Neal (How to Rock, You Gotta See This) and Ciara Bravo (Big Time Rush) in this original comedy caper.
Based on a popular children’s book by Gordon Korman, production is slated for October 2012 in Vancouver, Canada. In Swindle, when an evil collector cons Griffin (Crawford) out of a million dollar baseball card that could have saved his best friend’s (O’Neal) home, he unites a ragtag group of his classmates (Grande, McCurdy, Munck and Bravo) to take down the swindler.
It’s a valiant adventure that will take them through daring heists, crazy disguises, pie fights and a showdown with a sumo wrestler, but throughout it all, the kids have to bring their skills together as a team to get justice. The movie will begin airing in 2014 on Nickelodeon’s 40+ international channels across Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia.
