Zayn Malik Chris Brown Support ATTACK

jljlkjkl

Zayn Malik has admitted that he likes Chris Brown’s new song Don’t Judge Me. Zayn Tweeted: ‘Don’t judge me, big tune from Chris brown love that song ATM ! :),’ Tweeted Zayn, 19. Some fans think it’s inappropriate for Zayn to promote Chris’s music after he brutally beat ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

‘@zaynmalik no, definitely judging you. how about you abandon Chris Brown & listen to more Frank Ocean,’ ‘@zaynmalik Chris Brown makes me realize that no matter how much I mess up, I’ll be forgiven if I dye my hair blonde and get 100 tattoos.’ ‘Zayn is getting more and more black everyday first he likes Drak and Chris Brown and now he followed Obama.’

Do YOU think Zayn should support Chris even though he is physically abusive?

Whoever said the black comment needs to be slapped seriously. And, the incident happened 3 years ago. Let it go. I’m not saying you have to like Chris, but it’s time to get over the incident. Obviously, Rihanna has…

Its a shame so many people think their god. I understand he made a HUGE mistake and IM not trying to overlook that at all but this is getting out of control. At the end of the day , the ONLY person who really needs to forgive him is Rihanna. Instead of seeing the bad in him , why not try to help him become a better person? Lord forbids you make a mistake! And if this is going to be a race issue of course hes going to lose. Hes a young black guy who made a mistake. If we actually judge someone’s music based on their personal life NO ONE would ever be successful. Zayn has admitted he likes Chris even before he even went on xfactor. supporting someones music doesnt mean you support their PAST behavior. Im sure a day doesnt go on that he doesnt think about what happened so just tell me what is CONTINUALLY hating on him going to solve? *crickets*

    ____________
Miranda Lambert said she would shoot him with her gun and he didnt deserve his grammy but in the SAME night, she stood up for Glen Campbell who made headlines a couple years ago for beating his girlfriend…….Mel Gibson beat the hell out of his ex and he was bashed nearly as much, Charlie Sheen….the list can go on. I dont want to think it has something to do with race but cmon! Let this of been Justin Timberlake or someone..

However wrote this, like I mean can this comment be more uneducated that it already is, this site is just plain childish now, I mean I use to love this site cuz of all the positivity and good pictures it has, but now it’s worst than Perez Hilton specially a LOT of young kids come here . I mean I know whoever is writing on this site is probably uneducated and can’t really think critically but at least have some humility and respect for the audience who are reading this. I’m not even a fan of neither but my little cousin comes to this site , and c’mon oceanup .

  • Mizcutie101

Ok first of all who ever said he’s turning black is ignorant. Second of all this person has no idea who Zayn is. If they are a true fan they would know that Zayn has been into r&b before Xfactor. Its not something that happened overnight.

  • SlimShady

I like some of Chris Browns music, doesn’t mean I support who he is or was as a person. And I like Bob Dylan, Eminem, Thriving Ivory, does that make me ‘more white’? Uhm no. Some people just get more stupid every year.

  • Anonymous

Well zayn never said he liked Chris brown, as a person , he just made a vague statement about his music. Niall has openly admitted that he liked Chris brown’s songs too, he didn’t get any abuse on twitter for it though.

im sorry but people need to build a bridge and get over it!! if rihanna can forgive him enough to even date him again i am pretty sure we can forgive him because we werent even involved

  • TheStraightShooter

People, GET OVER YOURSELF. And OceanUp you need to get your facts straight. He did not BRUTELY beat her, people use that term when they find a girl brutally beaten in an ally, so this doesn’t even come close! Also, Rihanna through in some hits there also! HE MADE A MISTAKE. Stop making a big issue over it, he didn’t kill someone so we should all be forgiving and stop trying to get attention by constantly commenting on this situation and thinking you’re getting attention, cause you sound stupid. Move the fuck on. I’m not a big Chris B. fan but damn, shut the fuck up already.
The only reason people are still hung up on it is because he is famous! If it was a random person no one would care. It’d just be another abusive relationship. But because he’s famous everyone has to get involved. Same with when people cheat on their significant other. No one should be involved in that but him and Rhianna and anyone else THEY CHOOSE to get involved, like their families. But it does not concern random people who have never, and will never, be in their lives.

And someone’s PERSONAL life should not affect how you view them as an artist. If you don’t like his music then fine, but don’t use personal things or events to judge his music. That’s just pathetic. It doesn’t change his music.

And if Rhianna, the victim, can get over this then why can’t all of you?

“The only reason people are still hung up on it is because he is famous!” No, non famous people would have that sort of thing haunt them for the rest of their life. At least where I am from.
“It’d just be another abusive relationship.” This sentence makes me think you take abuse lightly. Just another abusive relationship? You make it sound so nonchalant.
“No one should be involved in that but him and Rhianna and anyone else THEY CHOOSE to get involved, like their families. But it does not concern random people who have never, and will never, be in their lives.”
I can see where you are coming from, but with being famous, that is just what comes with it. Now, is that necessarily fair? No. But this is a little different than cheating or something else. This is an actual crime. A lot of celebrity’s crimes can be forgotten, this isn’t the type that is going to be by the general public.
“And if Rhianna, the victim, can get over this then why can’t all of you?”
Rihanna, the victim, seems to have a lot of issues. Not just because of the Chris Brown situation, but otherwise as well. It’s a bit obvious she’s not exactly the most stable person.
Now, personally, this situation doesn’t change how I view Chris as an artist, I wasn’t crazy about him musically before, and I’m still not. Like I’ve said above, I think this is the sort of thing where Chris can be forgiven but not necessarily forgotten. He’s actually really lucky that it didn’t completely destroy his career, others would have not been that lucky.

There is a BIG difference between supporting someone and liking their song. There are a few artists I sincerely can’t stand but sometimes they release a song I can’t help but like

I worry about the human race when I hear things like “They act so black..” or “You act white.” Skin color is scientific but it’s become a cultural phenom because we’ve made it that way over the years. It makes absolutely no sense to judge someone by the amount of melanin in the top layer of their epidermis. But because it started a long time ago it’s turned into a whole different spectrum of thinking. Some people are so used to judging others by their appearance that they subconsciously assume things about a person based on their pigmentation. They think that there is a difference in the quality of a person’s character because of it. And unfortunately some people accept this behavior as a result, they have accepted this as normal behavior and automatically assume that’s how they are being treated and this shouldn’t be the norm either. But it comes as a result of many years of this kind of thinking, it’s a wall that’s built up. Since it is a reaction it shouldn’t be used to justify someone’s judgement.

In fact there should be no way to justify any judgement based on someone’s biological appearance. There shouldn’t be cultural devices dedicated to it either. Such as saying that someone acts like a certain skin color or disapproving when two different skin colors are in a relationship or placing stereotypes on someone the minute that you see them. You get no gain from this. What would there be to gain from any of this? It’s a waste of those precious things we call brain cells, and it gives you a bitter heart, and it uses up time that could be used on so many other things.

first of all the black comment was racist and stupid. 2nd he is not supporting the fact that cris brown punched rihanna he just said he like his music.

Oh wow you have got to be kidding me . You can’t even listen to music these days without someone shameing you. What Chris Brown did was horrible obveously but it’s kind of no ones buisness. This is ridiculouse.

I’m not a fan of Chris Brown’s but some of those comments are ridiculous. Especially the one about him getting “more and more black every day.” Please…because someone likes Chris Brown, Drake, and Obama, that makes them “act black.” Can people not just have interests without being told they are “acting white” or “acting black?” That’s just so dumb. It’s like someone telling an African American that they “act white” because they like a certain music genre or something as well. It’s just not right.

I agree. And I hate how everyone is still hung up on the whole thing. It’s been 3 freakin’ years already. Rihanna and Chris are over it. Personally, I think that if the people involved are over it, everyone needs to move on. Saying Zayn is horrible for supporting an abuser is wrong too. He likes his music. A LOT of people like Chris’s music even though he did what he did. People just need to move on already. Sheesh.

  • Anonymous

the Zayn is getting blacker comment is just dumb. That is 1) racist and 2) ignorant. The color of your skin should not define what kind of music you listen to or who you support. And its not like Zayn is saying “aww yea go out and punch bitches”. hes saying he appreciates another artists work. I love Chris Brown’s music but i don’t care for him a person. People are so narrow minded.

Just because it was 3 years does not mean people are going to like him again. He beat up his girlfriend, but because he is famous and makes okay music it should be forgotten? I am sure people would not be so quick to defend him if he wasn’t famous. You are right though, who gives a hoot because Rihanna clearly does not care about herself or her well being, and I certainly will not do it for her.

I agree. If the non-famous people I knew were to abuse their girlfriends or vice versa, it would never be simply forgotten. That sort of thing would be carried around for years and everyone would know that person did that certain thing. I also think Rihanna is really mentally unstable to be quite honest. Not just because of the whole Chris thing, but she takes her alcohol and drug use to a whole other level besides occasional “fun.” It literally seems to be all she does these days in her spare time and she plasters it all over her twitter.

How is that trying to get attention? It isn’t. I think people can be forgiving of a situation but that doesn’t necessarily mean it should be forgotten.
