Delta Goodrem, 'I'm So Happy To Be Free'
Delta Goodrem spoke to Herald Sun about breakdown of her engagement to Brian McFadden: 'I think everyone goes through changes, and every decision I’ve made has been one from my heart. I’m so happy where I am at with my life right now. But definitely I had some tough times, there is no denying that.
It took me a second to stop and think, but I had to make better changes for my life and I was in a place I needed to move on from. I have now, and I’m really proud of myself for that. I’m so happy and so thankful to be free as a person. I’m at such peace, I don’t remotely feel anything bad. I only wish them well.
I’m getting to do The Voice, I’m doing my music, I’m myself again. I want to be a young 27-year-old, loving music, that’s me. That is who I am and I didn’t get to be me for a second. I feel like I’ve grown up. It’s really interesting, because now I know what it is like to have grown up.'

I don't understand how she can say the last year of her life was so unhappy, but then she says "every decision I've made is one from my heart." They're two pretty contradicting statements. If she wasn't happy, she wasn't following her heart. *shrugs*

Wow, I had been thinking gosh Delta is just so pretty, but then I read a comment above that said she had plastic surgery. I looked at the pictures, and she was pretty then. I can't admire her beauty now that I know it is fake.
I think Delta is hilarious and so irrelevant. She's been known in the USA thanks to Nick Jonas. It is ironic how Delta got her contract with the new label and suddenly nelta no longer existed. In some of the photos on the web she was recovering from cancer treatment and very sick and I find it a bit sad when you see comparisons to those photos on the web including when your hair was growing back and the various wigs when your hair had fallen out. Your true fans loved and support you. It must be hard hearing some of this.
