Joe Jonas CANDY Magazine interview via JonasBrasil. Is there any aspect in their music as a solo artist in which you can trace the style of his brothers? My brothers thought I really wanted my own sound, but I think there are parts that have inspired me. I can definitely say that Nick has inspired my writing. Speaking of style, you were in Manila to promote the brand 'Bench Styles Ayala Mall's Style & Origin.' How would you describe your fashion style?
I like bright colors. I like things a bit risky, not just something to be used every day. What is your style of footwear? Something comfortable. I have many shoes, so I certainly wear something casual. I have over 300 pairs of shoes, because I have difficulty to undo them.
What style of music you been listening to these days? I heard the new album of Norah Jones and Calvin Harris as well. My brothers and I recently heard Gotye and we said, 'let's make music like that.' Obviously not create the same thing, but we want to be on the same wavelength.
What can you tell us about the meeting for the Jonas Brothers album? I do not know if you can call the meeting. It was here and there, and we perform our various projects. I do not want to brag, but I would say is our best album, because we have grown and experienced so much in recent years. Fastest way to get you in the mood? A funny joke.
Fastest way to a girl get your attention? A beautiful smile. Quickest way for you to fall in love? An honest heart. Best time to get ready? 2 minutes. Fastest time it took you to write a song? 15 minutes. The song was 'Please Be Mine' and was the first album of my brothers and me.

Good interview. I was kind of hoping they would go for more Bruno Mars neo-soul for their new music. Their voices are very similar to his and Grenade, for instance is a great song and I could picture them writing a song like that. I think when you're angry or hurt about love it inspires the best songs. Adele's an expert about that.

Is it just me, or does one of the contestants on that clip of "The Next" look like one of the contestants who was on the first season of the US version of "the X Factor"??? I think her name was Stacey something? She was mentored by Nicole Scherzinger in the over 30s group?

After she was eliminated from X Factor they found out that she had been in a successful band aand appeared in Phil of the Future and starred in a Broadway musical and a bunch of other stuff.
