Miam prefer low-key nights at their 8,000 square-foot Mediterranean-style home: 'We’re pretty much always here. I am super-antisocial and such a homebody. But everything I need is here. As much as she's gone downhill with her career, i do feel like she's been making smart choices with this new music. Props to her for once.

That girl in the Hunger Games is getting a hefty raise from 500k to 10mil or more depending on how the next movie goes. Josh and Hemsworth are getting raises, but not even close to what she's making. If she only made 500k in that movie, the two guys probably made 200k if they were lucky. I bet they'll make 2mil this next time. That's why Miley's marrying Hemsworth, he's worth something she can respect; a dollar.

Just for balance, consider: My own father made the same comment about a retired couple who owned a boat, but didn't have the strength to winch it into the water. Some young people helped them, and then drove the boat around for them. That's why my dad believed in living it up while he was younger, and only saving cash for his retirement when he was in his fifties. It's a personal philisophical choice. Yet his house is paid off, and he travels to South America every year.
Meanwhile, I have an in-law who saved more for retirement, so he bought a Mercedes, his first. He now spends way too much upbraiding his grandkids for not treating his car with kid gloves; for example, shutting the doors "too hard". It's sort of pathetic.
Like Miley, I've never done any illegal drugs. But I can't help but notice that singing about rehab can make your albums go platinum, re Amy Winehouse, Eminem, etc. Maybe that's because 50% of Americans now favor legalizing marijuana; with Liberals and those 18 to 29 most in favor, Americans 65 and older most opposed.
There are lots of different points of view out there. Let's try to treat each other with respect. I believe Miley is biblically sound when she says that loving each other is God's greatest commandment (Matthew 22:37-40).
