'Nick Jonas Will Bring Tough Love To Idol'
Joe Jonas told The Hollywood Reporter: 'We have all been able to have such a great career so far. I feel like for Nick, he’d be able to bring a young approach to the show. He definitely knows what he’s talking about in the business. I think he’d probably bring the tough love occasionally and a dry sense of humor [that] I think would work well.'
Joe said Nick encouraged him to take the position on The Next: 'When I was getting the show together, I was kind of asking my brothers if they thought this was a good idea and I remember Nick just telling me I should go for it. His words were like, ‘You know, you’d be on that seat for a reason.’ And I was like, ‘Alright, cool. So it was encouraging, and I’d say the same thing to him. I feel like he could bring a lot to the show. Him and Mariah, it would be, I think, funny television.'

Just when I had written off Idol for good because of Mariah, I may have to watch it one last season to see Nick. I say one last, because Nick seems to be the kiss of death for everything...

Shut da fuck up with ur "Kiss of Death" bullshit. Mr Sunshine was a fail that had zip to do with Nick. HTS was scheduled to close in January but lasted until May because of sales he brought into a limiting production. Jonas LA was a concept one year delayed because of the writer's strike. Had it been produced on schedule, it would've done much better. U tell me how the fuck NICK had anything to do with the demise of any of those shows, Little Miss Know-Nothing who will no doubt request facts to suit her perspective.
I think he would be better as a mentor than a judge. I can easily see him working with people. I just can't see home saying "You suck!" and sometimes that needs to be said whether it is nice or not.

I think Nick's sense of humor is too smart for some people who find him boring, in fact he has a great sarcastic humor and he is can be a douche, lol, he can be adorable also, I find it funny how Joe talks about Nick, "tough love" "dry sense of humor" LOL

I hope he gets the gig (i actually have a feeling he has already).He'd make a great judge,he has alot of knowledge about music,with his history.I hate to say it,as much as i like Mariah,i'm just not sure if i like her as an idols judge.No offense to her,it's just my opinion.If she does,i'd still support her.We'll just have to wait and see
