it's amazing how many people have to point out how his album floped! yes he failed but at least he wasn't afraid to try and when it didn't did that great he didn't just give up on life and became depresed .. and that is why he's my idol.. i don't care how many fans moved on he'll always be my hero..

i love Joe and his album in my opinion is GENIOUS! if it was another r&b artist he would get so much credit .. the reason Joe flopped is because Jonas fans don't like that kind of music and other people won't gie him a chance because he's a Jonas!

Fuck this. A lot of fans went out to buy Fastlife. I know a lot of people who support Joe. It doesn't even matter to me how many copies were sold because he did a good fucking job and put his heart and soul into it. I'm proud of him for trying it out. It was just something he decided to do while his brothers were also doing their own thing. Also, saying all he does is party..isn't that what all famous people do. On top of working and doing charity work, yes he goes out and parties. Like an average 22 year old. Yep.

Wait. I haven't said this, but how is it weird that Joe hangs out with Wilmer. If I recall well, Demi was friends w Taylor and hungout with Camilla Belle who she damn knows what she did to Joe.

lol Agreed. I'm a Jonas fan but Joe's album wasn't very good. I mean there are some good songs in the album but since Joe wrote most of the album the lyrics leave much to be desired. Best songs on the album were Lighthouse, Sorry, and All This Time, they would have been better with a different singer and better lyrics.

I agree Nick is a lyrical genius .. but unlike MOST artists Joe wrote all of the album.. except like one song.. and That's impressive .. his lyris are actually really good IMO. but whatever.

Yeah the lyrics to Black Keys mean that the most beautiful part of that girl he wrote the song about are her imperfections. But I don't like most of the lyrics to Fastlife, idk they are just ridic I actually liked Much Better wich Joe wrote a bit of, so idk what happened to the lyrics from his solo album..

there not ridic, whether you like them or not, there lyrics, they were wrote from personal experiences, just like writing a journal and therefore they're like works of art, some people don't like rapping but there still masterpieces. You don't have to like the song, you don't even have to like the lyrics but believe me no ones lyrics are ridic, it takes a lot of time and a lot of effort.

OK so his first solo album did not do well but us Jonas fans know he is a talented singer and just needs to find the right style of music for him at this point. As for all the partying celebrities work hard when they are touring, filming or recording and a lot of that is unseen by the public so why begrudge them some time to hang out and have fun when they are not working. Actors may have months away on location but then months not working just going on auditions,

A lot of people didn't realize how much he worked hard!! He's such an amazing singer, damn!! If you don't like his new music, I don't care! But other than that I think out of all the Jonas Brothers, if he stays single, (which is hard) he WILL be the one to make it. He brought the ratings way up for his episode of Hot in Cleveland. It's so surprising to me that the teenager in the group, Nick, lost so many fans. How can the teenager lose most of the teenage fans?

Dude, everyone I've talked to in Australia didn't even know Joe had a solo album coming out last year until I told them, and the ones I played a little bit for really liked it because it was different from the Disney-fluff Jonas Brothers music.
Personally I liked the album, but I just feel that he could have done so much better; without his brothers, without anyone else, he could have done a lot better if he wanted to. He said that at one point he'd recorded 40 songs; only 11 (12 if count Just In Love with Lil Wayne) made it onto the album.

Funny how people say they hate him, yet they always talk about him.

And he has friends, he can hang out with them. What's so bad about that?

There are so many criminals out there, people who kill, people who do drugs, and yet you talk about him going out? Pathetic.

No one ever seems to think about the good things Joe does like charity, helping people.

He never, ever said bad words about his exes or his family, yet you see him as bad.
