This reminds me of the time my sister's 2 vaguely connected acquaintances were feuding for over 3 years before they just started ignoring each other because they had each named their child the same first name.

How unoriginal do you have to be to use the same name as a band that's been well known since 2010? Wow.. And it's the same thing with JoBros and Justin, the boys had JB first and Justin stole that from them.. It's pretty pathetic.

They're not well known though..
That's pretty stupid. US One Direction created they're youtube channel in may 2011. Which menas they were formed time before that, when UK 1D weren't even big in the USA.
On the other hand, it's hard to believe anyone outside US1D's state knew them, so it can't be UK1D's fault either.
It's just an awful coincidence for both bands, but 'directioners' are being annoying and immature. I bet UK1D are a bit embarrassed of their fans right now.
Was Justin supposed to change his name? He didn't ask for one of his nicknames to be JB but it was bound to happen since his initials are JB. I do agree about One Direction's name though.
