Ed Sheeran deserved that award, does One Direction write their own songs? No. It takes real talent to sit down with a guitar and play a song without no backing track, unlike them. I'm not a hater but they where the least talented ones in the category, I guess this is what happens when you have thousands of 12-15 year old girls behind you but don't worry if thats you, you're taste in music should improve as you get older. must suck being a hater huh? if ive heard correctly ed is nominated for a few other awards and hes won twice so far and hes friends with 1d. they deserved this award theyve been working hard nonstop for a year. and have done amazing even though they lost the xfactor. if you knew anything youd know their target audience in the uk and mostly everywhere else is teenage girls! meaning 15-20 yr olds. and i know alot moms that love them too. hatings not cute. their music is really well written. and their talented. im not 12 either. im a Happy 20 year old one direction fan! get with it. im not some obessevie crazy mental fan either. i truly think they deserved it. dont be so sour and negative. So proud of the boys! They've had such an excellent year. They are soo lucky that they have such devoted fans. Their music isn't necessarily groundbreaking but their personalities and how they interact with fans is what makes them so special. Get it 1D!
They completely deserved that award. They're incredibly talented. Even if they don't write all of their own songs, they have written a couple. Either way, all five of them have amazing voices. I'm so proud of them
