Hocus Pocus SEQUEL IN THE WORKS?

The 1993 film Hocus Pocus starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, Vinessa Shaw, Thora Birch and Omri Katz may be getting a sequel, reports Movie Hole. Directed by choreographer/ filmmaker Kenny Ortega, the movie told of three sister witches Winnie (Midler), Mary (Najimy) and Sarah (Parker) who, after 300 years, are resurrected in Salem Massachusetts on Halloween night, and it us up to two teenagers (Shaw and Omri Katz), a young girl to stop them. Would YOU like to see a sequel?

No, don't make a sequel! The first one was fabulous and is one of my favorite movies. Please don't ruin it! That said, I'd probably still watch it...haha.

No. I wish they would stop trying to remake classic films. Just leave them be.

Leave it alone! Hocus Pocus is undoubtedly the best Halloween movie from our childhood, and serves as a real point of camaraderie & nostalgia for our generation. To try and top it would be like trying to make a Mean Girls 2. Oh wait, that happened. And it was awful. You see my point?
Either way, if they're going to make a sequel that includes the Sanderson sisters in some way, they would absolutely HAVE to have the original cast of Midler, SJP, & Najimy. Otherwise there could be no possible saving grace. Especially if Kenny Ortega is directing it. What's it gonna be? A singalong?
