But, yeah, her personal style oft leaves much to be desired. The stylist would only consult with her about what to wear on the days of the schedualed photo-op, tho, btw. And they haven't done too many on this promo tour. You can usually tell what's real, from what's not by the perfect quality HD shot, taken at the precise "money shot" moment from reletively up close. Yes, "for publicity" is the short way to describe it. Selena being linked to Justin has been amazing for her career, and Justin being linked to Selena has helped him evolve in the public eye from being a little boy. In real life, they are not "together", but they are great friends. That's why everytime a kissing picture comes out, it LITERALLY looks like one or both of them is grossed out and/or trying not to laugh. It's why every interview question about their relationship is either vague, or rehearsed. And it's why Justin still acts like he's single. Because he is.
Justin doesn't have time to date anyone right now. He's always on the go, and it's not like he can just go to the local coffee shop and meet someone off the street anyway. Being with Selena all the time is great for him. He gets to be with his bestie and be normal *snorts*, and she's someone that he can trust. I don't like Selena, but I do like that Justin finally has half-decent friends these days.

Everything in show business is a performance, just remember that. And when two people really have something special (and this goes for anyone(, they protect it. Not exploit it.
one more thing, what looks like a "candid" to the public, is actually a carefully orchestrated ordeal, involving publicists, managers, stylists, agents and many more. gotta make sure the outfit is right, gotta pick a location and scenario for the day (ie: icecream, playing with babies in the park, airport, beach, etc), gotta call the paps, gotta write out the fake details and send those out to blogs to cover on their website.
