The Next: Fame Is At Your Doorstep is set to premiere on the CW in August, is a singing competition produced by Dave Broome and Queen Latifah, featuring judges Joe Jonas, Gloria Estefan, John Rich and Nelly as they move in with contestants for 72 hours for the ultimate mentoring experience.
'The series is a music talent show, I’m really excited about it.. I’m going to be moving in with someone. The judges will be going to different cities in the states. There will be four people auditioning in each city and these artists are going to be either people that had a chance in the past, maybe they possibly got dropped from a record label. Also there will be people that are local stars or local celebrities.'
Where will Joe be staying? 'I’m going to be living with them for 72 hours, I’m going to be spending time with their families, learning about them, say they flip burgers, I’m going to be flipping burgers with them, just so that its really hands-on so that I can really get to know this artist so that we can work together for this audition. It’s going to be a lot of fun I am really looking forward to it.'

it is a good thing for them to be out there in the primetime public's eye leading up to an album release and tour. It is a fact of fame now adays that to relauch a career you put yourself on reality shows. It has a big huge audience. And basically haters will stay haters or change, and stans won't leave. Disney, ABC, Fox and all their affliates plus Ryan Seacreast just cross promote the hell out of people quite successfully.

tHEY ARE DOING INDIVIDUAL PROJECTS WHILE WRITING FOR THE NEW jONAS ALBUM till it releases. Joe is doing several appareances on T.v here and there, he will be a mentor in a new singing talent show (The Next) and Kevin will have his own reality with her wife on E!, Married to Jonas.
Nick ended his run in How To Succeed, appeared 2 times on Smash and tonights he's a presenter at some award show.
