'Nick And Joe Jonas Are Such Sweeties!'
Nick Jonas Backstage interview: What was your reaction when you found out that you were being honored tonight? Nick Jonas: I’m so thrilled to have had the chance to perform on Broadway, to be around so many talented people, and being honored with an award like this is a privilege. But I think that the award should really go to the people who have worked as hard as these people do every night.
And how did it feel to return, after recording and working in television for so long?Jonas: I’d say that this is the hardest schedule. There’s eight shows a week. Especially in a leading role. But I really enjoy it. I really love it. And I love the lifestyle of it, too. Because it isn’t just when you’re on the stage for the two and a half hours every night ,it’s the entire lifestyle you have to have to be able to keep up this schedule. I admire the people who do this all the time.
What’s next for you? Do you want to do more work in theater? Jonas: I hope to do more theater. Right now, the focus is on time off and enjoying that, doing some recording this summer, and then some other things coming up that we’ll talk about soon. But first it’s a nice season of some quiet time. As far as theater projects in the future, we’ll see.
Any advice you would give to someone trying to make it as an actor? Jonas: Enjoy the ride. Every moment is valuable. The moments of success, the moments of working to find success, it’s all part of the journey. It’s all fun.
BAHAMAS UPDATE: Around 11:30 PM on Wednesday, Nick and Joe Jonas hit up the casino at the Atlantis in Nassau, reports E! News, Joe was dressed in a pink polo, while Nick was in a brown sports coat and white shirt and rocking a buzz cut. They were with three large security guards and went straight to the ATM upon arrival.
They don't have quite the following in the Bahamas, because no one seemed to notice them. One girl approached them: 'A pretty fangirl walked up to Joe and asked if he really was who he was. He confirmed his identity, but when the fan asked Joe for a hug he just said, ‘I'll shake your hand.'' They disappeared for a while before posting up in the Dragon's Lounge club in the casino, where they flaunted their celebrity status.
'It's pretty ritzy. They were dancing in a roped-off VIP section and around 1 AM they left with a huge entourage of all guys, including Ugly Betty alumni and future Partner's star Michael Urie, who was rocking a highlighter-yellow polo.'
Finally fangirl found them: 'While they were leaving, fans started to notice it was them and started chasing after them. It was mostly teen girls with some guys mixed in, but they [chased] them.. and the guys happily posed for pictures in the lobby of the hotel.'

From this interview it sounds like he's going to attend to his personal life not so much his career for the near future. (kinda like 2011) They really are stringing fans along w/them recording music for a new album. Don't think it's going to happen. Hate to say it but if Nick doesn't attend to his career, it's going to lose momentum. (it lost enough momentum last year) Now the last career project people will remember is one that had to close because no one was sitting in the audience. From this interview it sounds like he's going to attend to his personal life not so much his career for the near future. (kinda like 2011) They really are stringing fans along w/them recording music for a new album. Don't think it's going to happen. Hate to say it but if Nick doesn't attend to his career, it's going to lose momentum. (it lost enough momentum last year) Now the last career project people will remember is one that had to close because no one was sitting in the audience. don't worry I think he is just waiting for the right project, he can't just accept anything or people won't respect him anymore, he is special and talented, and that lasts forever, anyway I do think he has some projects but he doesn't wanna talk about them yet. He is smart I'm sure he know what he is doing and he can't spend too much time without working.
Nick toured south america last year, and he did hairspray. He sold out arenas in South America and he is always the favorite Jonas but you're right, he needs to do something now!!! I can't wait to hear what's next for him

Jonas: I hope to do more theater. Right now, the focus is on time off and enjoying that, doing some recording this summer, and then some other things coming up that we’ll talk about soon.
when Nick said the focus is on time off he meant in that moment, that week he was relaxing, he is presenting the Tonys, that's huge for a 19 year old starting his aldult career on broadway, I think he is gonna focus on broadway, that's the best for him, and I'm sure he will soon anounce the "other things coming up" so I'm excited
