oh God... the two girls talking are Italian. right now I'm so embarrassed to be Italian. they're all like "Can you realize it? He's so close..." "The paparazzi just took a photo... maybe we're in it" "Where's my mum?". and then there's the mum of one of those girls who keep saying "Nick... Nick, Nick" while her daughter tries to stop her from calling him. I've always thought it... we are the WORST when it comes to be tourists. But wow, flying from Italy to see the Jonas... such dedicated fans.

Nick's team won this morning at Yankee stadium. Joe never showed up. He must be busy in Hawaii.

Actually guys Joe did say he was going or the press release would not say his name in it. That is a really sucky thing to do. To promise he would do something and then not show up. Joe could have cleared this up with a tweet. But he didn't. He could have said I'm on vacation and can't make it. But he didn't. It's called communication. Team Jonas could have tweeted it for him if he was incapacitated.
Nick wasn't acting like a diva. He couldn't take pics with fans outside the stadium because he was running late, but he did take pics with fans inside the stadium during breaks in the game.
Which is fine, if you're just hanging outside the stadium and didn't buy a ticket you shouldn't get pics anyway. Stuff like that is partly why How to Succeed closed. Too many fans willing to spend hours standing outside the stage door instead of springing for a ticket.

You can criticize the fans that stood out side the theater, but the Jonas fans have actually been waiting several years for music. Some of them don't have money for a Broadway ticket, but they would buy new Jonas music or a concert ticket. Nick's lucky they are still hanging out there waiting. Because others got tired of the promises and have left. Last year Nick didn't keep in touch much.

I heard he was in Hawaii and was flying to LA today from Hawaii. That makes more sense. It would be stupid to fly from Hawaii (where we know he was based on his twitpic yesterday) all the way across the country to NYC and then all the back across the country less than 24 hours later to LA. Even Joe's not silly enough to do that.
It was probably Nick they saw. He flies out of Laguardia when he's in NYC and he left for the airport right after the game at Yankee stadium today.

If someone can spent all day, cause lbr some people showed up before matinees and stayed all day to meet him again after the evening show, waiting to meet Nick at the stage door, maybe they could have picked up a job or a babysitting gig or something with all that time and spent $50 to get a seat in the cheap section at least.

Nick lost many fans last year and that was partly his fault. He is great in person with fans but not otherwise. He ignored them. For example he kept asking for fans to vote for him last year on twitter for the KCA's and then didn't even attend. Maybe he needed time off, but the lack of audience was the result. By the way, on the weeks fans were off from college and school he did fill the place up. It was the only time he did.

The reason the show closed is entirely because of sales. However, that does not mean that a fan who waits outside does not deserve a picture. In regards to "How to Succeed...", I saw the show four times, but I was outside the theatre many more times than that, and yet, the day before closing, what was the first thing Tammy Blanchard said to me when I gave her flowers? "Thank you for all your support." Yes, I supported the show financially, but money does not make a fan. She was thanking me for all of my support, which goes beyond monetary value. Again, money does not make a fan.
just to clear things up. i'm one of the two girls and first: we didn't fly from italy just to see them. second: it was kinda insane to have them so close, as we don't see them very often in italy. you would not have done the same? we just had this big fortune to have them there during our stay in the city.
we were freaking out basically because that was the first time ever we met them, and after 5 years of waiting it was too amazing!

just for your information, we didn't even touch them, we stayed quite far as the bodyguard told us and they were happy to see italan fans supporting them in nyc. they also spoke italian to us!
