i got one at age 13 and it was swollen as fu** for the first month. oh and i got it cause i thought it'd look badass and my favorite rocker ,Bill Kaulitz, has one. (i was an immature kid., sue me.) So i don't see what the huge deal is here. she's a kid. of course she's gonna want to feel "cool" with it. As for her parents letting her, she can always take it off (like i did). It's not permanent people!!
I remember when I was in middle school which was like more than 7 years ago? A few 8th graders I knew got tongue piercings when I was in 6th or 7th grade but those girls were like the 'bad types'
but still this girl is fucking 11 years old, the age of a 6th grader >.<

It looks fake by the size. I have my tongue pierced and seen lots of other tongue bars. The size is way to big to be a real jewelry. Seems like its those suction jewelry or magnetic. The same were used in the movie Thirteen when the actresses had to have tongue piercings.
