Nick Jonas HOW TO SUCCEED HOT

Nick Jonas in discussion with Jordan Roth about his current role in 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying' at the 92nd Street Y. Photos: StarTraks.

'It's interesting. The thing that I think I've realized, having played Finch every night, eight shows a week, is that the title of the show is 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,' however the thing about Finch that's really exciting and appealing to the audience, and me as actor, is that he does try really hard.

Although he does rise to the top really quickly, he never lies, he never cuts anyone down, he never does anything that makes him a bad person. However, he's just really driven. I think when it says 'Without Really Trying,' it's more just saying how easy it really is when you get into the setup he falls into. It's fun to dig in and see how quickly and easily you can rise to the top.

It's a different show every night, a different audience every night and although we're saying the same thing, it's so different with each show and the audience plays just a much a part into the way the show runs as with the actors do. We have to pay attention and keep the pace of the show up. It's been fun to have a different show every night and to see the fans, not only Jonas fans, but also fans of 'How to Succeed' and theater fans in general.'

Yeah he was. All of the guys I found cute are growing out of it. Like recent pictures of Rupert Grint just don't look cute.

Even Darren Criss seems to get less attractive the longer he's famous.

He looks adorable on the video. Whatcha talking about? But he does look like an angry wax figure in the big photo.

-_____- so I guess Finch telling Ms. Jones that Bud said she was scary-looking when he didn't; completely ignoring Rosemary after he "falls in love with her" and proposes, making her feel unwanted and forced to quit; and definitely putting Bud Frump, the new Vice President of Advertising, and Mr. Gatch under the bus (costing the latter two their jobs) isn't lying or cutting people down. Finch is funny, eager, and determined, but he does do a few morally-wrong things to get to where he ends up.

Exactly what I was thinking. Or when he convinces Biggley that he is an "Old Ivy Alum"...

one of the biggest lies of all! lol. not to mention, "working all through the night" on a Friday -____- honestly, does Nick even know his character? lol

lol there is a whole musical number about that one. Well I guess people have done worse to get to the top.

Silly Nick...

yeah, people have done worse, but even Bud Frump is more honest than Finch lol. I love Finch, but you gotta admit when he's wrong, he's wrong.

Why not? lol
But now that I think of it Robin has been looking different lately....he looks way older than his wife now but they aren't that far apart because they met in high school or something. Plus he was recently arrested for having weed in his car so never mind I take that back lmao.

Lol awe. Maybe he just misinterpreted his character or he just wants Finch to be that way so he is justifying all of his actions lol.

hey I love Finch, I would justify all of his actions too lol. but the audience always loves Finch, so he never needs any defending. he could do all the morally-wrong things in the book and the audience would still have his back lol. but the truth of the matter is that Finch is morally-wrong in his actions to get to the top. there's no way around it.

Yeah, it's a little scary that Nick doesn't view some of the stuff Finch does as lying. Or cutting people down.

Anonymous said:

Maybe that is how Nick got to the top, lying and cutting people down, that's why is so normal to him.

But, honestly, how can you play a character for 6 months when you can't even figure it out and understand it the right way?

that's what his father taught him, it's his school, not his fault
