Jenna didn't burn page 5, she gave it to Toby to bring to the police; that's why Garret was arrested. And we know that Jenna is faking being blind because we saw her drive to meet (someone who I assume to be) A, but when she was blind, just because she sensed them doesn't mean she was faking it. When you lose one sense, your others get stronger. Hanna, being materialistic, always wears perfume. Jenna would be able to smell her and know it's her. Yes, the creator has announced many times that the show is going a different route than the books.
Jenna is blind on the show too. She had surgery to regain her eyesight, and pretended she was still blind, but that was only in the episode before the finale. Before then, she was actually blind.

yeah but the show seemed to be implying from the beginning jenna wasn't blind. and jenna is sweet in the book and toby was the one who molested her. it's kinda weird how in the series jenna molests him. like who does that? lol ive never heard of a girl forcing herself on a guy. they changed it to make toby the good guy (though in the book he had changed and regretted what he had done)

And you probably would be one of those people that think women can't rape guys either as well. You may have never heard of it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. In this specific case with Jenna and Toby, obviously it happened, but Jenna also blackmailed him; she told him if they didn't have sex, she'd tell their parents he raped her, and they both knew they'd believe her, so he did because he was forced into it.
As for implying Jenna is blind, that's just to spark talk and suspicion, which equals ratings. She was definitely blind before the surgery. She went to a damn school for the blind for goodness sake; I'm sure they would have figured out there that she wasn't blind with tests if she was faking it.
