Thanks for answering my question about whether Demi is a big star in South America. In the posts by OU on her South American Tour, she always seemed to be mobbed but maybe there are not that many fans. In the US, she was biggest during Camp Rock and Season 1 of Sonny with a Chance but I don't think she is as popular anymore. She really needs that XFactor gig to get back to the top. Maybe she can release a Spanish album too. Does she speak Spanish? I don't think I've ever heard her or Selena speak Spanish but I think Selena is coming out with a Spanish album. Maybe Demi should do the same.
Since the many of the contestants may be older than Demi and either never heard of her or only think of her from Disney I think they could well be asking WHY is this kid a judge!! Think Demi is talented and does have a lot of experience but in this instance they should go with someone more well known and some credibility in the business.
How about Joe Jonas as an XFactor judge? He was a guest judge on Amrican Idol, although I recall that he did not say much.

That's your own point of view. Demi saved me, her music made me realize I needed help to get some control over my life. Everyone goes through way different experiences and is touched by different kind of people or artists that's not a thing to judge. They've been always rude to us, so yeah.
