Fans are not friends. They're worshipers, and Demi is their false god. Demi imagined herself through her own recovery, because she loves to be the center of attention. She's a nice girl, but this whole celebrity thing is a little unhealthy for everyone involved.

Wait. Wasn't the pressure of fame part of what caused her breakdown in the first place? She would never have had fans without that fame. So, basically her fans almost killed her, but then they saved her. What confusing irony that is.

Another ironic thing about Demi is that she's beautiful, she's young, she has a natural singing talent, and she is personable and has lots of friends. With all that going for her, you'd think she would have been happier about herself a long time ago. There are unattractive girls out there with no talent and no friends who also feel really bad about themselves.

I like her. But girl chill the fuck out.

Exactly. Demi is a genuinely sweet person, but fame seems to have negative effects on the famous. It turns them into robotic, unrealistic people. Then again...you can't say that happens to all celebrities, because some people just know how to stay themselves, even with all the attention they're getting. You know Adam Lambert? Well, I'm a fan of his because he has remained true to himself, even with all of the fans he has.

I hate how Demi keeps milking this because there are many people worse off than she is/was, but she acts like she's been through the worst. What a joke. but many of people would love to hear her story i'm sure , many say they have been better because of Demi , she's honestly a fablous rolemodel , i don't know any other celeb like her. There's no other celeb to share their story to fans , though she may talk about it a lot it's still great to know she's healthy because she is a very young girl still.

when she got famous her condition worsened so she needed support to get through it and if she didnt get famous maybe she would have never started cutting and stuff again...

People with low self-esteem might have sex to try to make themselves feel better, but it only results in even more low self-esteem because the act is so meaningless and emotionally empty. They're eventually left feeling unsatisfied, and if they don't then they are sociopaths. Only a cold, unfeeling sociopath would think that sex has no connection to love.

I don't think she's talking about literally being suicidal. I think what she's saying is that she would have become very very sick by either starving herself or potentially overdosing on drugs, the latter of which has actually killed some celebrities.

You can tell Demi is an attention whore because she's one of those girls who has like 20 different friends. I knew a girl like that in high school. They spread themselves too thin, and it's really annoying to try to have any significant interaction with them. Loners make better friends.

I'm boycotting (not watching) "X Factor" tonight. I don't want to see CeCe howl like a dog anymore, the arguments between Demi and Simon are getting old, and it's annoying to constantly see Carly Rose (who should win the whole show right now) in second place.
