Miley's not one year behind for her age. in actuality she's actually supposed to be in a class behind people like Emily Selena Demi and Nick. like for example, In California, the student registration cutoff date for incoming students is like early november to late october. Miley's birthday is close to december. Usually no one's that young in a class. It depends on the state, but a lot of states make kids register later for school. its all very different.

According to Tennessee state law, you must have turned 5 years old before September 30th to enroll in kindergarden. in September 30th 1997, miley would have still been four years old when other people like Demi and Selena would have already been 5 and eligible to enroll.

She's home schooled. its not like theres a ceremony for that. she probably just completed all her credits and finished up. Even if she failed, home school is not like regular high school where there are time constraints on when you can take a class. If she failed then she could have just taken it again. The point is, She's Miley Cyrus. she doesn't need to even graduate high school. She has enough money to live comfortably for the rest of her life as it is, and theres no way she's gonna go unemployed in the future.
