She is so immature for her age
Not one of the better songs on her album. Some of the songs on her album aren't bad, but she obviously still can't get over her ex. She needs to move on with her life. He's remarried and seems very happy. He left his wife & kids for Delta so Delta needs to stop playing the victim here. She made a decision to stay for 7 years and still had her engagement ring on when she met a famous teenager.

i don't think she's a great songwriter... there's too much uuuuuuuuuhhhh, ooooooooooooooooh or aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah in her songs and most of the lyrics aren't that good either

The funny thing is Nick is not even claiming this song. If you look on BMI or ASCAP which is how writers register their songs and get paid for them Nick is nowhere to be found on this song. So clearly he doesn't want anything to do with it.
And her thank you to him on her cd was pretty self centered. Just like the songs she write about it they come off as thank you for letting me use you and not at all about what kinds if person he is.

And yet on the album booklet she clearly lists him as a cowriter of the song so she needs to make up her mind. He either co wrote the song or he didn't. Unless she kept him credited on the cd because she knew that would get attention to the song. Which obviously it did or we wouldn't be here talking about it otherwise.
I don't think Nick cares at all.
I tend to think she included him as co-writer purely out of respect, not as a writer now legally entitled to royalties. And yes, I'm sure publicity plays a part. It IS a business, after all. Both for her AND Nick. They know what they're doing.

I really tried to like her but watching this video or any video makes me cringe. She's completely immature for her age. I overestimated Nick. He needs someone more mature... not necessarily older. Delta is a rare case; she just needs to grow up and dating a teenager didnt help that

Delta has moved on with someone else who she calls her "kissing" friend. Whatever that means. But the fact that she went after a teenage kid who wasn't over his teenage girlfriend yet, is just weird.
In the first coule of days her album is currently no. 2 on the iTunes chart...
Nick would be stupid NOT to want to be associated with this song. It's incredible!
