Harry Styles responded to Taylor Swift’s ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ Grammys performance saying that ‘it was just another good Taylor Swift performance.’ According to The Mirror he said: ‘Oh it’s fine. She’s a great performerand she’s always good on the stage.. she’s done it for a long time. She knows what she’s doing on stage. It was just another good Taylor Swift performance. It was good.’
Harry revealed the band’s excitement for next week’s Brit Awards: ‘We’re such big fans of people like Mumford & Sons and Muse so to be nominated alongside them is incredible. After the year Mumford & Sons have had, especially after the Grammys, we think that they’re probably going to win. It would be great to see them win because we’re huge fans of theirs. We’re nervous about performing on such a big stage but we’re excited.’
Niall Horan and Amy Green broke up! A source close to the pair confirmed: ‘Sadly, it is over between Niall and Amy. He finished it because he didn’t have enough time with everything he has to do. Understandably she was disappointed because she had been in a relationship before she started seeing Niall and chose him over her boyfriend. But there are no real hard feelings and they’re still close.’
Amy, who is studying drama at the University of Birmingham, started dating Niall last October after they met at a London nightclub: ‘She found Niall a bit too immature for her tastes. It was like Niall’s first relationship, whereas Amy had been in a relationship before. They had a few silly arguments and it was really the beginning of the end. Niall used all the tools he could to woo her and he treated her really well. She enjoyed it while it lasted and hopes they’ll stay friends.’
Zayn is going to get a tattoo devoted to Perrie Edwards: A source told Star that ‘Zayn wants [the tattoo] to be as beautiful as Perrie is in his eyes. He suggested matching tattoos, but then realised it will make a bigger impact if he gets one on his own. Zayn wants to prove he can be the man that Perrie wants him to be. He’s going all-out to gain her trust and respect again.’
Source told Daily Star: ‘One Direction are having No.1s all over the world but all anyone seems to be talking about is their relationships.’ Bosses have told them to try to steer clear of potentially dodgy situations as much as possible: ‘Harry and Zayn were told the focus needs to move away from which girls they’re getting intimate with and be more about the music.
They’ve been told to behave themselves. Label bosses reminded them they’re singers, not reality stars. The Zayn scandal wasn’t the kind of attention bosses want for the band. It doesn’t matter if it’s true or not, it still chips away at their squeaky-clean image.’
