Thank you for getting rid of your extensions. Please don’t put them on again!!!!!!!

  • SlimShady

To the person who said she has a normal body that girls should look up to- no offense, go fuck yourself, honestly. Do you ever stop to think that ‘ooooh maybe by trying to compliment bigger girls I’m insulting naturally thin girls’. Like this bullshit about how real women have curves. No. Real women love their bodies, no matter its shape. You have no right to declare what’s normal and what’s not. Don’t you think thin girls feel bad too? Especially withthis psycho babel bullshit about what we should all look right. Sorry, I must be an abnormal person for being thinner than Demi, but no matter how much I eat I stay the same, I guess I’m not healthy or beautiful or a person girls can look up to. Shucks.

  • SlimShady

Demi looks lovely, congrats to her.

  • Anonymous

The way she’s using it, yes, she’s trying to get sympathy. Of course I assumed as such as that was the only thing you brought up. And why do you believe she had an eating disorder? Because she said she did? Did you know cocaine can cause weight loss AND a raspy voice? Did Demi hit that backup dancer because she was stressed out about getting caught because of an ED? Or was it partying allegations she was worried about? Ah.

  • Anonymous

Lol slim shady, LOL. Since when are thin girls sad that they’re thin?! Last time I checked, everything looked good on them. Everybody wanted to be like them. It’s the curvy ones that suffer. This society is obsessed with how much you weigh. If the thin ones are unhappy, they can go screw themselves because they are what most of us want to be. This curvy is sexy thing is just a way for us to make ourselves feel better and help accept our bodies. Nobody wants a fat girlfriend.

  • Anonymous

i know the legal drinking age is 18 in england but isn’t it 21 in america? i find it weird that they came out with that fact that she was addicted to alcohol, unless theres some kind of other law in america ? :S

  • Anonymous

Nobody said thin girls werent real women or ugly what was being said is that Demi can be a role model for teen girls with the average body since most famous girls are all thin and influence these teens to lose weight.

  • SlimShady

You are obviously ignorant as fuck. My best friend is 5ft9 and thin as a stick, and everywhere she goes people snigger and call her anorexic, and she has to look at shit people say on the internet about how unhealthy her body type is, and how men would rather have a bigger girl and how real women have curves, and how curvy girls are beautiful and she is not. You think just because you fit into size 2 it means you look good in everything? She has to wear loose tops all the time because she thinks it addes curves and its the only way people will see her as beautiful and normal. Its NOT okay to put down someone else’s body. Its not okay to insult thin girls just like its not okay to insult curvy girls. Have you ever seen a thin girl in a tube top that looks good? No, because thin girls, a lot of the time dont have the breasts or hips that curvy girls have. Its bad to put down anyone’s body type to make yourself feel better. And your wrong about society, too. Look how they tear into naturally thin girls like Taylor and Emma, saying how they need to do this and that and stuff their face to achieve hollywoods new ideal standard for a woman’s body.

  • SlimShady

I’m not trying to insult you btw, sorry If I come across as being batshit craycray. I’m curvy too, but I think all body shapes are beautiful, and every girl, no matter her weight, is insecure about something, so instead of this curves vs thin we should just all focus on beauty being in our health rather than our shape

  • Anonymous

I agreee with you slim ladies!im as short as demi around 159cm and i was 45kg.verybody said i was too thin and anorexics.now im 49kg having a bit curves and being told to be fat.it doesnt matter me,i love my food and just saying by that 4kg ghaning i got my normal weight and people say im fat.well fuck them!

Black pants makes you look slimmer. I LOVE Demi a lot BUT she needs to loss weight about 10 pounds.

You don’t tell someone who suffered from an eating disorder to lose 10 pounds.

    —-

Seriously! She’s perfect the way she is. HAPPY!

You’re telling me to quit acting like I have some higher sense of knowledge about her problems when you’re doing the exact same thing: just believing what is spat out to you. Let me put it this way, if you had just broken your leg and over time the bone started to heal itself and solidify, would you continue to stay in the hospital afterwards “just to make sure you’re on track”? I doubt it, you’d probably start walking and running around. I know addictions are lifelong battles. I am not denying that. What I’m saying is that she’s not completely honest and that is sickening. Oh trust me, I know about addictions and you know nothing about me, in fact if I knew nothing then I wouldn’t feel the need to comment, would I?

I heard she is still in outpatient rehab… after 2 years that doesn’t sound very sober at all.

  • Haylor4lyfe

Oh don’t be so arrogant and please.. outpatient treatment means she’s taking her recovery seriously and it helps her stay focused and committed, take a seat.

  • Anonymous

No, it means that this “stay strong” bull shit is well, bullshit. No one stays in rehab for 2 years if they only had a minor problem with drugs, which was actually her main problem. But it’s not as “inspirational” so her team put out that ED business. And it doesn’t mean she’s taking recovery seriously. It means she can’t seem to resist the temptation of blow. If she was 1 year sober, would she still need to be in rehab? All right then

  • Anonymous

I really agree with you on this. It hurts to see people always saying, “oh, real women have curves”. I’m really thin, sorry I’m not a real woman to you. You shouldn’t preach you love all bodies if you hate on skinny girls.

  • Anonymous

se looks so much better . her hair is so pretty ! much more natural

I’m sorry and you know this how? Are you Demi? Did you participate in her meetings during and/or after treatment? Are you her doctor? No. Stop acting as if you have some sort of higher level of knowledge about her past issues. That’s beyond ridiculous if you think being in an outpatient rehab means the person doesn’t take their recovery seriously. Addictions aren’t something you can just snap out of you know, it’s a lifelong battle and obviously you haven’t experienced one otherwise you wouldn’t be acting so rude about it. I think it’s awesome what she’s doing, she’s healthy and happy and it shouldn’t matter what she has to do to achieve that.

I love her hair, she looks gorgeous

    yayyyy she’s sober <3

Sorry, she had no eating disorder. Just a cocaine addiction. It’s a shame you’re gullible enough to be sucked into that sob story.

    —-

Did I say I believed she was only rehabilitated for an eating disorder? No. Of course she had a cocaine addiction, among other things, but she undeniably had an eating disorder as well. Just because it’s what her management focuses on to distract from the self incriminating and less “inspirational” issues, doesn’t mean it’s completely fabricated. Anyone who looks at her old photos can see it.

It’s a shame you consider someone’s fragile mental health a sob story.

^ Just stop. A mental addiction is completely different from a physical injury. Basically, a Psychological Addiction can be as serious as physical dependence and often proceeds it. Psychological Addiction must be treated with counseling and with time can be overcome. It can be more difficult to treat than physical injury because it is less tangible and not as well understood.

  • Anonymous

Lol, you’re entirely missing the point though. Everyone is. I’m not trying to downplay any mental illness, I can easily agree that they are harder to deal with as they are more abstract and less understood. My thing was that she’s not being as honest with her fans as she says she is. Point blank.

  • Anonymous

I’m sorry, there’s nothing inspirational about her. She’s no more inspirational than any other celebrity who has gone to rehab, she’s just soliciting it more. Everyone here seems to be missing the point.

    ————————————–

That is your opinion if you don’t find Demi’s story “inspiring.” So what made Demi story inspiration is because it is relatable and she encourages those who suffer from an eating disorder, cutting, depression, or drug/alcohol abuse to get the help they need to live a better and healthier lifestyle.

  • Anonymous

really i don’t get what she’s done besides promoting herself? She’s never paid for a fan’s treatment or volunteered at hospitals or spoken at seminars or anything so for that reason I don’t get why she’s so inspiring

Your point? You keep saying she is not being completely honest with her fans with her story. Do you know or Demi personally and everything about her life to keep saying that? Where you there with Demi when went through all of this? Tell us that.

  • Anonymous

Well, I don’t see why you’re so hung up on defending a celebrity who honestly couldn’t give a single fuck who you are. Yes, that’s my point. Good job you got that far. It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out, you’ll see that her interviews change a little each time, about the important things. I won’t bother listing them out since I doubt you’ll take anything into consideration, but I have for some lovatic before who just dismissed me as being “rude” even though I was just being truthful. I have close source to Demi and other D-list celebrities like her, but I didn’t bother mentioning it as you probably wouldn’t believe me anyways.

    ———————————–

Actually, outside of Demi’s career in the entertainment industry, she is also very involved in philanthropic activities through charity work and various social and environmental causes. Demi has volunteered many times before at a children hospitals and is a part of many charities such as “A Day Made Better” School Advocacy Campaign, and has supported DonateMyDress.org, Kids Wish Network, Love Our Children USA, ST. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and City of Hope. She also served as the spokeswoman for the anti-bullying organization PACER. In April 2012, she became a contributing editor for Seventeen magazine, where she discussed her personal struggles, directed towards teenage girls. In October 2012, she was named the new Ambassador of Mean Stinks, an anti-bullying campaign focused on eliminating bullying among girls.

  • Anonymous

But what has she done about her own platform? All she did for Mean Stinks was a few interviews. Now all she does is stand there and look pretty. Let me tell you, ALL celebrities take part it some charity drive, it’s a must so they don’t look like some asshole with a lot of money (even though Demi only makes like $1 million a year lol). And if she’s that charitable, why is she not on the top 5 charitable celebrities of 2012 list? Why was she not on the 2011 list? The top 2 are Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift, respectively.

    ————————————

It is not BS at all. Demi is taking her recovery seriously because she is still keeping up with her progress step by step. Any type of addiction especially in Demi’s case of suffering from an eating disorder, cutting, depression, and on top of that abusing drugs as a way to self medicate is a continues fighting battle. So by her going to an outpatient rehabilitation center to keep her progress on track is a way to keep up with her recovery to stay sober and healthy. Her story is inspirational story especially for those who has suffered from any type of these problems to get the help to live an better lifestyle.

Ugly nails! What is she mortica? She always seems to be a bit dark and morbid (Not Healthy) I also think this whole sober thing is a fake too! Wise Up People!!

  • Anonymous

Her style tends to be a bit awful as well! And no that is not her stylists fault!

  • Anonymous

Taylor for one thing is Not normal! Another is if people can eat and eat and never gain weight it may be only in there youth and then… The other is that sort of thing is VERY rare and possiblly fleeting! So No the general public is Not going to look at you and say how normal that is! With this epidemic of sickness (mental) in eating disorders and image issues And Media (Hollywood) and more the great underplayer here! The fashion world telling you it is fine = No it is the norm to be this way! Yes! It is going to be an issue! Let us not forget that people in Hollywood also lying and tell you there underweight issues are just mormal! They can’t be truted!

Black pants makes you look slimmer. I LOVE Demi a lot BUT she needs to loss weight about 10 pounds.

  • youarewrong

NO. She does NOT need to lose any weight. She is obviously happy and HEALTHY and young girls and women need someone with a fucking NORMAL body to look up to. She has a BEAUTIFUL body. BACK OFF! Go Demi. WERK.

  • Anonymous

I seen her in concert like a month ago she’s not big at all she’s really short though. && when your short like that it makes you look bigger then what you are I don’t think she’s needs to lose any weight but everyone has their opinions…

  • LimaHeightsLovatic

Your natural body is your most beautiful body and that means not trying to look one way or another but happy and healthy, so if your curvy or thin , you are just as beautiful. The point is you should try to change how you look in order to please someone else or to try and fit in. Be happy with your body and make peace with it . If you want to lose/gain weight it should be for health reasons not beauty reasons. Demi’s message is to be comfortable in your own body , to own it and celebrate it and ignore all the people that tell you to change it for their own reasons. It’s your body , and you have to live with it – so you should be happy with it. =)

  • LimaHeightsLovatic

I meant you shouldn’t try to change how you look in order to please someone else or to try and fit in . Sorry for the typo – that completely changed my message.

  • exoticmist

She looks so great. I love her hair cut, hair color, and style here.
