Taylor Swift described her thought process onstage at The BRITS to Sunday Times: ‘You’re balancing the analytical side of your brain, which is telling you where to go and how to go there, with the other side of your brain, which is saying ‘Feel everything you’re singing, and show it on your face. Feel everything exactly as you felt it when you wrote the song.’
When the interviewer comments that she’d ‘die’ if she had to perform it in front of her ex boyfriend, Taylor answered: ‘Well, it’s not hard to access that emotion when the person the song is about is standing by the side of the stage watching.’
Harry didn’t seem that bothered though, later that night he was quoted as saying: ‘I thought her performance was really good, she looked great.’ Taylor revealed the one rumor about her exes that really bothers her: that she keeps all their stuff in a big trunk. ‘Yeah, I read that and it really creeped me out. It’s not like I go for people in the entertainment industry. Those have been the types that have gone for me recently.’
