    Wow. She better BUY.

Its a vacation home. Meant for trips with friends or family. 8 bedrooms are convenient if you have a big group of friends come stay. Or for family and security guards.

I am interested to see if she stays here for very long. I can see the house from my family’s house across the fishers island sound. It is located in watch hill, which for the majority of the year is rather sleepy but in the summer is very busy! The house is right near the “downtown” area and the largest public beach in the area so the whole privacy factor she is looking for may be lacking… That being said the residents are all older and richer and like to keep to themselves!

Its a vacation home I doubt she would stay there long enough to be bored. And she’s a 23 year old woman not a little girl to be scared being home alone. She has a 24/7 security detail with her at all times.

When you put money in the bank it appreciates over a period of time at a small rate. Meaning the longer you put it in there the more you cam get back. Investing your money wisely you can profit a significant amount of money over a shorter period of time. Its better investing in stocks and and investments than just letting it sit in the bank. And if the bank ever closed down you would lose most of your money or through inflation the value of your money could go down.

    Super nice house

She clearly has the money and she works hard for it, so let it be, peeps.

I will never get why people need to buy houses with this amount of money , save it and my a cute house that won’t cost you fortune

  • Kat

Well for you it’d be a fortune but she made over 57 million just last year. So that amount of money isn’t a fortune for her. She is investing in a house and she is rich. So she’s use to that lifestyle. People buy houses that fits their budget. Yes, normal people can’t relate. But there are expensive houses everywhere and its built for people that has outrageous amounts of money because its a luxury they can afford.

A cute small house would be nice. But it would lack space for security which she needs since she gets death threats and stalkers. A house secluded in a private ritzy community = Less likely for hordes of fans and more privacy.

    Woah! So jealous!
But i’d be scared as fuck being alone at this house at night after watching a horror movie or so haha
Does she even have the time being at this house btw? I thought shes working like all the time

  • duckyhoward15

You are right but let’s face it , even no one needs a house that costs 24 million dollars not even Mariah Carey and she has a cute house not too big and not too small , celebs put their in a bank an earth quake can take alot of houses down in minutes , trust me one day she will regret buying alot of house no one knows what the future holds .

  • Kat

Of course no one needs a lot of things they buy. But when you have extra money you can afford to have things that you don’t need but want. She has a condo in Nashville, a house in California (for work and since she’s out there a lot) and this is a vacation home 2 and a half hours from NYC. And she is in NYC often for work too so It’d be nice to have a home since she is all over the country instead of hotels. I don’t think she would regret an investment such as a house which she can sell anytime and recieve a profit one like she did the one in Hyannis Port and profited a million.

I mean this house is nestled in a very small exclusive beach town. She probably wants a place for privacy and she wouldn’t be bothered by people when she vacations or is about town. Because most of the people there are rich and old.

I don’t think we know enough about her life to judge her every action. We aren’t in her financial pool either to say what she should and shouldn’t buy. She lives a very different life. Her parents are old and maybe she wants to provide them a nice vacation home to share with her. So they can enjoy in her success while they’re still around.

I think she has been very smart with her money from what I’ve seen. She doesn’t buy multiple expensive cars, which depreciates in value over time. Or jewelry and spends money on boozes and elaborate parties. She invests in houses. It was marketed for 24 Million but she paid 17.75 Million. If she resold it for 24 Million in the future she could potentially profit over 6 million. And now a lot of people knows about this house since she bought it.

    Gorgeous view and beautiful house.

Lol you guys have NO idea why people buy homes! People buy property because there is a great chance that its value will only go UP! That’s why many business people buy property as an investment. It’s more stable than stocks, and they don’t have to pay as much tax as they would if it were all in cash.

Clearly some of you are too young to look beyond the celebrity, and focus on the business side of things.

  • duckyhoward15

I amn’t telling her what to do but in my opinion there is no need for a house that big because she will probably get bored or scared but whatever it;s her life but I just don’t like the idea of buying a house like that .

  • duckyhoward15

I studied business and atleast in my country you pay taxes for houses more than you pay for cash and let me tell you that nothing is certain not everyone can afford 24 million dollars to buy them from her so she might lose money but when you put them in banks you gain more than you lose ;)

  • xAskTaylorx

Of course its a house built back in the 1930’s! She loves that type of stuff. Did she get this big house with 8 bedrooms for all of her future cats?!? ; ) < <<<<< Joking! Bored. It's a pretty house! So she supposedly has 4 houses? Nashville, LA, RI, and one by Connor Kennedy's house?

  • Anonymous

She flipped the house by the Kennedys

When are you going to be funny?

  • Anonymous

Why she needs 2 kitchens in a house? O.o

  • ParaMonster

I still don’t fully understand why “celebrities” go out of their way to buy such big homes that they don’t even live in 95% of the time. I guess it’s just because they can but it still leaves me scratching my head.

  • threelittlebirds
