UPDATE: Miley had pain in her neck then had a panic attack!

Miley is NOT a southerner. Her daddy, Billy Ray, is a southerner. Not sure where her mamma comes from. But Miley was raised from a very young age in Hollywood.

  • Anonymous

Mississippi, which is one of the most conservative states in the country takes more federal assistance than any other state. And South Carolina, another extremely conservative state is dead last in education.

  • Anonymous

People always talk about southern hospitality and how southerners are so nice yet so many southern states keep passing these draconian laws like personhood and vaginal ultrasound bills.

  • Anonymous

DEAD at posters talking about polytics in Oceanup.

  • SlimShady

I bet the only reason Miley voted for
    Obama was because he supports
gay marriage. What a dumb bitch.

He was a better choice than the asshole who thought women belonged in the kitchen.

  • Anonymous

Lmao. You listen to what the media tells you. Which news station did you watch? Not saying Romney was great either, cause he wasn’t…they both sucked, BUT, he doesn’t actually think that. He believes in traditionalism, what this country was founded upon, and so forth.

Democrats want everything handed to them. Republicans get off their asses and actually WORK for their money. That’s the difference between the two of them.

  • Anonymous

i’m a a different anon than the one you commented to, but i’m an independent and hate obama. people need to wake up and see what he’s actually doing.

    Miley is lost she sux

I’m going to have to second that idea about Maryland. I live 20 minuets from D.C in the suburbs of Maryland, I go to a private school and I have seen some people struggle to get buy the necessities and others just get stuff handed to them. The conservative kids who just got things handed to them, were really frank about it and sorta of snobby about things that others of us dream of getting. I personally believe in hard work and I understand the value of a dollar and I’m extremely liberal but blaming others won’t help anyone.

“Miley says what she wants, not what her publicist wants.”

“And aw, Britney is so sweet. She’s such a Miley fan”

Ohhh, so beautiful these deluded people

Miley and Britney talk what Larry Rudolph determines, it is the manager of both.

And they are dirty dolls in his hands.

Britney does not deserve more than that, but it’s sad that Miley, who can realy make a great job, is now also has made ??this kind of “singer”.

    Thanks Larry, good job.

  • BrokenArrow

Lmfao. Of course she’s liberal. Most young people are. Because all they care about are the social issues, and are ignorant about the real problems of this country

And what do you want her do to tho? She’s an enterteiner that’s her job, not to run her country and solve real problems.

  • Anonymous

What world are you living in? Democrats are the ones working their butts off and get no credit. And what the hell is “Traditionalism”? Slavery? Rape? Theocracy? School only for the Privileged? That’s a pretty miserable life.

I’ve lived in primarily Democratic areas and everyone was super wealthy and worked their asses off. They were all very educated and we paid higher taxes and guess what? We had the best schools! I’m talking about Maryland.

Republicans are so delusional. The Deep South is filled with people on welfare (a lot of white people too) and they still vote Republican. It’s a total joke. The Southern states also take more federal tax money than they even put in! How fucking ridiculous. They’re so hypocritical it’s not even funny. Go to school.

Her and her family moved to LA when she was 12, I don’t really consider that young. It’s not like she was 5.

    Same.

    FUCK YEAH MARYLAND!
Your entire comment was fab. Blessed to live in a democratic state where I am well represented by various females in office and where diversity is actually welcomed.

I don’t understand how any woman could vote Republican. I for one don’t want old white men telling me what I can and can’t do with my body. Don’t even get me started on the “rape happens for a reason” mentality.

  • Anonymous

She talks about freedom. A fucking joke. Freedom is not being able to smoke weed when you want or do what you want. As if we only could be free if we did illegal things, talk about sex constantly and dress like her… Freedom not only means being able to make your own decisions but also being responsible.

I would enjoy my life being a constant party but some people actually have to STUDY and WORK… and fight to have a decent future. I mean I can smoke weed and do whatever I want and she can fucking study and sit my exams for me…

    Mature? I don’t think so.

    Stupid people.

Stop pulling that fucking women voting Republican card. Good lord. There’s more to being a Republican than just that one issue. There’s the economic and other social issues. I’m a woman and I vote republican.

That body is to die for, hot!!!

I don’t understand how any woman could vote Republican. I for one don’t want old white men telling me what I can and can’t do with my body. Don’t even get me started on the “rape happens for a reason” mentality.

Stop pulling that fucking women voting Republican card. Good lord. There’s more to being a Republican than just that one issue. There’s the economic and other social issues. I’m a woman and I vote republican.

    —-

People focus on the issues that matter to them. Obviously she’s a woman who cares about HER rights as a woman, that’s not the only “card” to pull though. If you’re a woman and your focus is not women’s rights, that’s your prerogative. But you have to realize:
    – Women are going to fight for their rights.
    – Gay people are going to fight for their rights.
    – Poor people are going to fight for their rights.
    – The middle class is going to fight for their rights.
    – Students are going to fight for their rights.
    – Small businesses are going to fight for their rights.
    – People who care deeply about anyone who falls into any of the said categories above, or going to fight on behalf of that loved one.

Those are all social issues that fall in favor of the democratic party.

So you have your reasons for voting Republican, that’s great… but people should probably stop pulling “the card” that it’s the issues facing the economy because that’s the weakest argument out there.

If you think Mitt Romney’s economic plan was (at the very least) any better than Obama’s, you’re CRAY CRAY. It didn’t even ADD UP.

So of course, most people are going to focus on the social issues that matter, when there was no clear economic answer to the problems facing the economy.

We all work hard, we all live in America, and we all want the rights that we feel belong to us and are important to us. No matter whether we are democratic or republican (I’m a democrat), this holds true for any individual.

As I always love learning new things, why are you a woman voting republican? Just out of curiosity. What issues (please don’t say the economy), do they stand for, that are most important to you? If you can answer that question wholly and honestly, then don’t worry about why anyone else votes the way they vote. They do it for the same reasons you do. That’s why it’s so amazing to live in America, a DEMOCRATIC country, that’s becoming more liberal every day.

So I know I’m not involved in this conversation but I can’t help but throw my two cents in. I think the previous commenter is right to be upset. I’m actually a moderate. My opinions don’t fall in nicely with one of the main parties ideologies more than the other. And while I actually voted for the Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson, I get upset when people say that a vote for Romney is a vote against women. And boy, do a lot of people say that. It’s ridiculous. I understand, as a women, how important women’s rights are. BUT we’ve got bigger fish to fry, in my opinion. Our country and our economy is falling part. And if I choose to put aside my feelings about social issues for four years because I thought Romney was the better candidate, then fuck you for saying I’m against my own gender. I’m for my country. I base my vote on what I believe is best for the country and for the candidate that best represents my feelings and opinions. (Even if people get pissed when you vote for third party candidates. I hate the bipartisan system.) ALSO, the Republican parties economic plan was actually Paul Ryan’s baby. Not Romney’s. And I don’t know where you’re getting this “it didn’t add up” BS. Because it was actually a very solid plan if you really looked into it. Which I did.

  • Anonymous

Wow, so many political comments on here. It’s nice to see that there are people here who are more than 13 years old, tho unfortunately it’s not the majority. Finally reasonable and mature people on OU :)

  • Anonymous

It’s my constitutional right. So I’ll talk about whatever the hell I want on this site and anywhere else. Also, I ALWAYS have my facts straight. I don’t know where you get off calling any of us hypocritical. I might not agree with all the opinions on this post but these ladies (and gentlemen?) are entitled to them just the same. And I love to hear them. I love to try and understand other people’s points of view. You should try to open your mind to that, don’t you think? By the way, my political views vary greatly from my parents. Like I said in a previous comment, I’m a moderate and when I study politics, I study it from all sides, angles, and parties. And I take information with a grain of salt when it comes from stupid blogs posts and people and news stations with not-so-hidden agendas. I will agree with you that not all Republicans are rich snobs and not all democrats are lazy. And while stereotypes do have a tendency to derive from some semblance of truth, I think people would do well to remember it’s best not to generalize any group of people. When you do, you almost always come across as ignorant. Case and point.

  • @MileyTribune

You people need to STOP being so fucking hypocritical.

    ALL of you.

Not all Republicans are “rich snobs”, trust me.
And not all democrats are lazy couch-potatoes.

Stop listening to the made-up shit your parents say about the opposing party and open your mind.

None of you know shit about the politics of each side, only the propaganda and made-up stereotypes.

If you wanna debate politics, go to CNN or FOX or something, not a shitty little Disney gossip site.

Miley can believe what she wants and so can you. But don’t say shit you don’t have facts for. Bye.

    Please excuse my typo.

Miley is actually very well spoken , hopefully she’ll take her career more serious and prove the doubters wrong :)

  • Anonymous

Well spoken, you’ve got to be kidding me. And I love her, but she is ignorant! Pot is not legal in California, therefore, her rant about loving living in California because of that and so on. It is not legal in California. She happens to have a medical marijuana card, as well as all her friends, for bogus reasons. Oh I forgot, we’re stressed, which is the standard answer that they all give in order to obtain one.

  • Anonymous

I love that she’s so real. Like just straight-up, no bullshit. Other people should be taking notes from her..
