Miranda and her mom are suing the driver of the bus, the driver of the tractor and the transportation companies, claiming the whole thing could have been prevented. They claim both drivers were operating their vehicles in an unsafe manner and failed to keep a ‘safe and proper lookout.’

They also claim the tour bus driver failed to hit the brakes in time. They were each ‘disfigured and disabled’ and ‘have lost their normal lives’ as a result of the crash. They’re suing for unspecified damages demanding more than $50k each.

Sorry kiddies but in the case of an accident like this, the actual loss of normal life functions cannot be determined the day after an accident occurs. We may not see physical injuries but they could be there in the form of spinal injuries causing great pain and headaches or other body parts not visible. Waiting one to two years gives a person time to see what effects it has and could have for a long term injury. I see nothing wrong with her and her mother suing if the bus/transport drivers and transportation companies were at fault. Why does how much money she has make a difference? The fact that she was earning a lot means over time she is losing more than the average person so she should sue for her possible lost future earnings.

Gotta love the money hungry and sue happy…could she get any greedier when she’s already rich…What is this “disfigurement” a little scar on her arm or something? Her and her mother need to go to a veterans hospital and learn the proper meaning of disfigure and disabled.

Proof of how greed really takes over people’s life. This apparently wasn’t lawsuit worthy in 2011 when she was still making steady money from iCarly. Now, two years later, they can’t live “normally”.

Miranda, you could’ve sued back then, ya know. But ok.

fuck off how is she disfigured then ? Do you know how many people die and are serious disfigured every day due to car crashes. And this then there is this cunt wanting MORE money ?? what is it with this society where people sue for anything and everything.

We can’t know the extent of her or her mother’s injuries, but Miranda – Come on! I think SHE is reaching a little too far if the words “disfigured and disabled” apply to her injuries.
If the drivers were reckless. She should be pursuing them in order to have their licenses revoked, so that they don’t endanger others on the road. Not for money! How does that help? Miranda’s wealthy, they can afford treatment.
I also think that her and her mother need to review their choice of wording, to see if they completely understand the definition of the words: disfigured and disabled.

Maybe they suffer with debilitating panic attacks brought on by flashback of what they perceived to be a near-death experience.
    or maybe…
The pursuit of money in this case – by somebody who was once one of the highest paid child stars on TV – is purely based on greed.
