Cory Monteith Died From Heroin & Alcohol

Cory died in Vancouver from ‘mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol.’

Lea Michele statement to People: ‘Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them.

They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory’s family.’ ‘Glee’ may delay production for a month because of Cory Monteith’s death ‘to let everyone breathe’. The only reason people care is because he was good looking. If he wasn’t, he’d rot alone on the streets, like all the other drug addicts. It is you I’m calling out, you f*cking hypocrite!

umm excuse me who are you calling out

Wow, this is so unfortunate, he was really talented. R.I.P Cory, you will be missed.

Mte. I’m sorry but I can’t find myself feeling bad for Cory. Although I feel bad for his family and fiance still even though they should of been helping him get better. They had to of known Cory was back to being a druggy.

How is it even legal for them to make a video announcement of the cause of someone’s death? That is such an invasion of privacy.

It’s national news, so there’s nothing private about it.

“Cory Allan Michael Monteith (May 11, 1982 – July 13, 2013) was a Canadian actor and musician, known for his role as Finn Hudson on the Fox television series Glee. Born in Calgary, Canada, and raised in Victoria, Canada, Monteith had a troubled adolescence involving substance abuse from age 13, and he left school at 16. After an intervention by family and friends, he entered drug rehabilitation at age 19, and began rebuilding his life.”

It wasn’t a thing that started last year. He had struggled with addiction almost all his life

So sad, addiction is a horrible thing! Hopefully he is at peace <3

I don’t think Monteith died of an overdose. His addictions were symptoms, I believe, of a deeper problem. There are so many searching for identity, meaning, happiness, and aren’t finding it. It’s tragic his life ended this way. http://downtownministries.blogspot.com/

I’m sorry I had to reply to this. You clearly have no understanding of drug addiction or substance abuse. He started when he was 13, tried to stop and couldn’t. He spent more of his life helping other people than you probably ever have. And if you have an addictive personality it’s just as easy to start doing drugs as it is to continue them. Trust me, I speak from personal experience. Have compassion for everyone who tragically dies especially at a young age, and don’t be the person who misunderstands the issue so much that it only contributes to it. He was a good person. What was probably depression, mental illness, and consequently heroin & alcohol don’t change that. We all deal with different things. We all have different feelings, childhoods, personalities, successes, failures… do not judge. Be thankful that you were able to find peace while alive because it is not possible for everyone.
