In a Lionsgate press release, it was confirmed that the “Game of Thrones” starlet Natalie Dormer is set to hold a major role in the final two-part installment of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.” Natalie Dormer has been cast as Cressida. Natalie is known for her role as Margaery Tyrell in the hit HBO series. Miss Dormer will appear in both films as Cressida, who helps lead Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) uprising in the Capitol of Panem.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” Part 1 is set to hit theaters in 2014 while Part 2 will be in theaters in 2015, directed by Francis Lawrence. The third and fourth installments of heroine Katniss Everdeen’s (Jennifer Lawrence) journey as she leads the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol. As the war that will determine the fate of Panem escalates, Katniss must decipher for herself who she can trust and what needs to be done, with everything she cares for in the balance.
