Selena Gomez is slated to make her Dubai live debut – in less than a month. The pop princess is the latest high-profile act to be added to the bill for Dubai Music Week, performing at Dubai World Trade Centre on Friday September 27. The actor-turned-singer joins previously named headliners Will.i.am and Timbaland, who both perform a day earlier as part of the tradeshow, which runs from September 24-29.
The Disney Channel star turned VMA winner is now firmly carving a name in her own right since the release of her #1, debut solo album Stars Dance in July, with sales fueled with top ten Billboard single ‘Come and Get It’. She is also on an insanely successful world tour supporting the album. Backed by legendary producer Quincy Jones, the first Dubai Music Week will act as a trade and industry showcase, as well as hosting major concerts for fans.
