Billy Ray & Lady Gaga Defend Sexy Miley

Lady Gaga on Miley Cyrus: ‘I don’t understand the incessant need to constantly go on and on about hating things all the time because, what, she’s 20 years old? And if anything, I give her props. You know, she’s growing up in front of the entire world and maybe she’s not so happy with stuff she did in her career when she was younger and she wants to be free, so let her do what she wants.’

French Montana on Miley: ‘Oh man, I was in L.A. and she happened to be doing the ‘Ain’t Worried About Nothing’ remix for me and she came by the studio. She was letting me hear her album, which is crazy, and we was going through a couple tracks to see which one I fit on. Then she played the ‘FU’ one and I fell in love with it. We just went in there, we did it. We did it together. She kind of showed me the ideas of the video, how she wanted to shoot the video and everything. I fell in love with that record. She’s a genius.

It’s two letters ‘F’ [and] ‘U.’ It’s about you just got two letters for somebody when you get down to that [point], you got two words for somebody. It’s just about somebody, when somebody break your heart or something [and] you’re in a relationship and it went sour and so you only got two letters for them, ‘F’ [and] ‘U’.. Everybody she doing music with, it’s a great thing.’

In Miley’s new song ’23’, she says: ‘I’m in the club, high off purp, with some shades on/tatted up, in a skirt, with my J’s on.’ Purp is a slang term for purple haze, a type of marijuana known for getting users heavily buzzed.

Billy Ray on Miley: ‘I’m a song man. I come from the old school where it starts with an artist and a song.. colliding if you will. .in a moment where the song, the singer, the producer, the band and the listener become one. It wouldn’t have mattered if Miley would have worn jeans and a flannel shirt.. a Tux.. or a nun’s habit. The song’s a smash.. and her performance vocally on the tune reflects her roots and sheer God given talent.’

Miley: If people can take their minds off the obvious and go deeper into their imagination and see what the video really means, it is so vulnerable. It was much more of an emotional experience.’ Sick of Miley News? Chrome now has a way to block Miley news on your browser!
