One Direction are set to earn 10 million pounds after agreeing to a major new deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco and record label Sony for three more albums. Set to release their third effort ‘Midnight Memories’ in November they will follow up the record with two more studio albums and a greatest hits collection.
They will also embark on more world tours in addition to their ‘Where We Are’ world tour next year. SYCO: ‘Simon Cowell and One Direction are delighted to confirm they have agreed to continue their hugely successful relationship with a new long-term agreement with Syco. Simon and the band look forward to many years of continued success together.’
Keaton of Emblem3 told Entertainmentwise about 1D comparison: ‘They are the biggest band out right now.. that’s awesome to be compared to their success. I think that idea comes down to we’re all like the same age and we all have similar features. They’re wonderful. Liam we talked to for a while. He actually surfs and is coolly related on that level. He works out like we do.’
