Liam Hemsworth told AP: ‘I’m more comfortable in my own skin than I’ve ever been in my whole life. Over the last five years I’ve learned so much. The first few years in LA were really tough and scary, but I had to figure things out for myself.
I know I’m a good person and these days I feel like I’m more centered and grounded than I’ve ever been,” he said. “What I always keep in mind is that I know what the truth is and that’s all that matters.
For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment and enjoy the moment. But being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I’m much happier.’ On kick-boxing: ‘I don’t fight people. It’s a mental release to go and beat the (expletive) out of a bag for an hour. I read a lot of Zen books. And I grew up surfing, so that has always been my escape.’
Liam revealed to Michael & Kelly that his mom taught him sex education: ‘I was in her class, I would come in for the first part of it and leave half way through. That must have been awkward. Ah, yeah, a little bit. You’d think it would be, wouldn’t it? “You have your mom talk about sexual stuff, it’s not a class I’d like to be in.’
Kelly: Did she ever call on you or anything? Liam: ‘I used to put my head down most of the time. We had this one time where we were given out cards of different sexually transmitted infections and you had to stand up and talk about the card and she picked me out of the whole room. It was like, ‘Well, I have chlamydia.. thanks for this, Mom. Good class.”
