On Friday afternoon around 3:50 PM, Miley Ray Cyrus’ Studio City home was robbed of over $100,000 worth of jewelry and high-end purses including vintage Chanel purse she pulled a joint out of at the EMAs, reports TMZ.
Also in her jewelry box could have been the engagement ring Liam Hemsworth proposed to her with which is worth $250,000, but may have alluded thieves. The Officer says there was no sign of forced entry and there is no suspect information at this time in the ongoing investigation.
The perpetrator seemingly took advantage of the fact the star was likely out celebrating her 21st birthday at the time, as no one was at the residence when the break-in occurred, and there were no reported injuries. ‘[Miley's] extremely upset and a lot of personal items were stolen. She’s really shaken up about the whole thing.’ Meanwhile, Billy Ray gave Miley $30,000 Can-Am Spyder three-wheel ATV before she took possession on Saturday. Miley, who takes Xanax when she’s anxious, told EW: ‘I’ve always had a lot of anxiety. I’ve dropped that completely and really started living in the moment and not thinking about anything too much, really practicing what I preach when I say not to worry what other people think and be who you are to the fullest.’
On being a role model: ‘I’m proud of the person I’ve become. Not what people think I’ve turned myself into, but who I’ve actually become, which is a happier person. It would obviously be hard to not be happy to be me right now. I’m proud of knowing that’s what I encourage other girls to do. I said 2013 was going to be the best year of my life, and I think what you put out into the universe you get back. I proved that to myself this year.
I’ve had so many crazy moments. [What] I was really waiting for was my album release. It had been two years of waiting and working on it and keeping it top secret. I had to make a lot of tough decisions. It wasn’t everybody telling me, ‘Yes, yes, yes.’ I took this time and tried to create my own sound.’
