One Direction are ‘on the verge’ of signing up to star in their own reality TV show, reports Daily Star. ‘It’s pretty much a done deal. Producers have met with the band’s representatives.’ It will be a ten-part series and would make them around £3.5million: ‘Details are being ironed out, including budgets and when to film.’
A camera would follow them 24/7, and it would be presented in a format similar to that of their hit film, This Is Us: ‘They are at the top of their game and that will translate into big ratings. I’ve been told the series will cost the channel around £350,000 an episode, plus expenses.’
Filming was set to start in February of next year, however, they have asked for some extended leave in the New Year, so filming has been pushed back to later in the year. In related news, Harry’s cardboard cutout is the most popular with fans, while Liam’s is the least popular!
