Kevin ‘Why We Deleted Jonas Twitter’

jonas-entKevin Jonas revealed why the Jonas Brothers deleted their Twitter in an interview with CEO of The C4 Group: The 3 most important things to millennials are: looking good, feeling good and doing good. Make a place where they can be social, feel special and then sell to them.

Allow them to become the tastemaker, give them ownership and they will support your brand in return.. Why just give away our brand? We also deleted the Jonas Brothers Twitter account because it wasn’t authentic anymore. Our generation doesn’t even feel gratification from posting on social anymore, just obligation.

Consuming media that is largely free increases the competition for millenial’s shortened attention spans. Soon we’ll have complete media freedom. You’ll see only what you want to see, when you want to see it. As a celebrity, it comes down to letting them into your life, not telling them what to buy.

“…doesn’t even feel gratification from posting on social anymore, just obligation.”

So, they changed it to Jonas Ent? Isn’t that OBLIGATION also? Us fans waited TOO long for the comeback. And they were late already. So don’t say you feel obligated because we waited for you and you let us down.

What are you talking about? Ashamed?

      • laura

because they were so fake and did everything for the fame and the money.
so yes, I feel ashamed for standing up for fake people.

        • Jam

I’ve got to agree with this. I hate them. I hate how I loved them. And now, this is what we got all these years?

I’m glad Kevin is running everything now of days!

  • JUG

No offence to Kevin but he is seriously over thinking what appeals to millennials on social media. It’s not that deep. You want more clicks? Here’s the secret. Go to the gym 7 days a week. Buy tight white tshirts. Get photographed repeatedly by the paps in the tight white tshirt. Then Instagram a shirtless picture of your gym body and say you’re doing it for Diabetes awareness. That’ll get tons of press for you.

However, if you want millennials to support you in the long run rather than just give you a click, that requires some real talent. It also requires real authenticity and not the oxymoron of PR manufactured authenticity: see Miley, Demi and Justin.

He is just lost and upset! Poor Baby!
