Harry ‘3rd Album Completely Different’

one-direction-midnight-memories-matureOne Direction have broken a UK sales record with This Is Us DVD release. They sold over 170,000 DVD/Blu-ray copies during the first day, reports The Official Charts Company. It marked the biggest first-day sales for a music DVD/ Blu-ray ever in UK chart history.

The previous record holder was Michael Jackson’s This Is It, which sold 109,000 copies across two days upon its release in February 2010. Liam Payne and Harry Styles are ‘proud’ of Midnight Memories and the band’s ‘evolution’.

Liam told Telenoche: ‘Well, I think it’s a lot more live sounding. There’s a lot more maturity in it, and I think the main difference is that we wrote this one really. We wrote a few tracks on each of the albums but on this one, we spent a lot of time on it.’

Harry: ‘If you listen to the first album, then listen straight to the third album, it’s completely different. Even though it’s only been three years [since 1D were formed] I think when you’re our age, three years is a long time and quite a lot has happened in terms of growing up in those three years.’ Full interview under!
