Selena Gomez canceled her Australian tour due to emotional distress from Justin Bieber. Source told Radar Online: ‘Dealing with her breakup from Justin has still been affecting her and she’s been in a bit of a bad place recently. Her family stepped in and basically advised her to either go to therapy or stay with them so they could watch over her.
Her team agreed that family time would be best. Selena has plans to hang out a lot in the coming weeks with close friends like Taylor Swift. Taylor has been a really good support system for Selena in recent weeks.’ Selena started:
‘My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them. But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be.
To my fans, I sincerely apologise and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you mean to me.’ Selena Instagrammed: ‘I’m the happiest I’ve been in a while.. So blessed and thankful for the future, for release and to finally be happy for those I loved.’
Bieber on writing All That Matters for Selena: ‘I wrote the best music once my heart was broken. ‘All That Matters’ was written when I was in a great place in my relationship, and at that time, she was all that mattered in my life. [The break up] affected us, especially when we are in front of so many people.
It’s such a public thing. It’s just hard for the both of us. But you know, she’s a great woman. I love her till this day. I think we’re going to be the greatest of friends. Right now we’re taking a little time and not talking.’
